Milwaukee M-18 Rubber Broom Attachment - Torture Test
As a plumber by trade, we dig quite a few undergrounds and shoveling has always been a pain. I've always thought, there MUST be a better way... So I researched and looked high and low for something less expensive than a piece of heavy equipment and better than the old shovel and The Power Rubber Broom was the best option I could find. Will it work better than a shovel? Watch and find out...

Sorry for the terrible video but wanted to share the experience. I bought a wheel chair hitch trailer from harbor freight to haul my moped to Florida for some fun and got the wild idea to double the trailer as a beach buggy to haul chairs coolers and what have ya.. this project was a ton of fun and I wish I captured all of it better but here the meat and potatoes of what we got going on here….
Plumbers Review: Dewalt DS Carrier and Tough System
Просмотров 37 тыс.4 года назад
Service plumbers review of the dewalt day carrier outfitted with two dewalt totes and one 10 way divided part sorter. It’s honestly worked great for a system to make less trips to the truck on the job but there’s a few things that I hate about it that could have been made better.

Pass.
What did you use on the rear axle as spacers for the pipe hanger clamps?
It's really not made for digging, but for grooming a piece of land to remove rocks and other junk. I suppose they would have made it a rake, but if they used a metal attachment, as rakes have, it would till the land, not rake it.
That is a very smart idea!
Think this would work on dog poop
can’t you just put the crate on top and then just clip the organizer on top of the crate so you don’t have to worry about it hitting the carrier when you try to open it?
Its dustier
Whats the easiest way to install a rear axel onto my cart?
You did a great job! Keep making more videos
I have this system....VERY VERSATILE The 2.0 doesn't have those metal latches in the back of the boxes, its a safety latch....I'll have to fab something I put a couple sets of arms mounted in the van with different drawers loaded with different tools for multitasking different trades
The locking mechanism is useless; because you didn't buy the boxes for it. 🤷🏿♂️You buy the boxes; that come with it, and it will make better sense!
Hi, what did you use for the steeing hinge/parts ? can you post photos please?
Really cool build! Nice job!!
How sturdy is the ds carrier?
Super sturdy mate. One of the most underrated products on the market.
How much to build me one?
Can it remove grass that’s been grown up in like your driveway? If so I need this.
No, then you should look for the ones with brushes.
as genius and creative Milwaukee can be why didn't they make it interchangeable between the rubber and bristle?.. oh yeah...cash in on another $350.
Any update on how it held up and if you still use it?
Might look at getting one to rake loose dirt to the end of a 2 foot wide trench
Would be cool to have it rigged so when you pull on the handle it moves forward. When you push it moves backwards, and when you release it stops.
Nice in theory, but it would bounce
How reliable are these? I found a 2001 lb7 sierra 2500 2 door 8ft bed with like 235k miles claims its all stock wants 8k
Just injectors, head gaskets are the weak points. If it's not modded I would jump on it
Two small castor wheels fixed on both sides of the handle rail should allow you to tip to the unit towards the flatbed and lift from the bottom amd simply roll on.
What is price
Were you able to use it to clean up a gravel driveway? That is, move gravel from the grass back TO the driveway?
How is the rubber roller when in reverse direction?
Milwaukee seriously needs to make a bike handle trimmer head quicklock
Not an lb7 it’s an lbz
Pretty slick 👍
Get rid of the K&N had that same set up on my last duramax put an S&b on the one I have now way lower intake temps and where I live it makes a huge difference.
been saving one of my daughters old power wheels for the same thing, im looking for some sort of thumb throttle speed controller for the handle.
I actually wanted to buy one before this video
Well he is using it in absolute wrong purpose, everything he did he could do 4xtimes faster with a shovel. These are naively used on asphalt, sidewalks to get away sand and small rocks, leafys from grass and sidewalks. It’s way too many videos showing the equipment in wrong situations, it’s like reviewing a law mover in a field and say “nop it didn’t work”…
Loock like children playing in garden!🤣
Put the handle on......
what kind of truck is that?
if you are only digging gravel shop vac might be the answer
🐆
Thats redneck ingenuity
How long did the battery last during your testing and what battery did you have in there?
The 12amp hour battery runs about 45 minutes with this attachment. Although startup cost is high, Milwaukee tools are well worth it in professional use
Reminds me of the electric snow shovels... always loved those things as a kid.
Milwaukee Tools=JUNK!!!!!
Think it'd work well for spreading pea gravel for a bedding In trench
Carfull doh I burned my "motor" just using the trimmer. two 8ah HO batteries, one melted stuck to the unit :-O
I have one tote, and will probably get another. I use it like a 5 gallon pail, shims, knee pads, rags, caulk gun etc.
Do you think fwd would have helped better than rwd.
Fuck no
Looks just like my uncle Leroy
Dis someone who doesn't use technology just show u up on how to use it? 🤣
he did have a good point! and after using it more often its really useful that way in gravel but it does fill your boots and shoes with rocks if your not wearing long pants

Might be good for snow
Just got mine today. That’s my secondary use for it.
it's one task away from useless.
I thought so too, but after using it for a week it’s actually been really handy just to have around the yard, job site and I’ve had a blast showing it to people that haven’t seen or heard of a tool like this. But definitely a specific usecase tool.
Interesting use scenario. For trenching I think a 10" wide "base" with splines that scooped dirt/gravel out sideways, lower rpms and higher torque, as well as a hip harness could turn a man into a mobile shallow trencher. It would have to be in sand or gravel though, because clay would be too much for anything like that. Thanks for putting it through an unconventional test.
I agree and that’s something I’d love to have but for times sake this was a quicker option to test out. Thanks for watching!
@@evanbrown1945 Lol, I wasn't suggest you make it, just thinking for that sort of use they could engineer something similar.
