  • Had about 3 inch of flufy snow.
    Was using the mutli head tool PH1400 with the bristle brush attahment BBA2100 with a 7.5Ah battery.
    Next time I might try it with the protector removed as it seems the snow gets back behind the brush after a single pass.

    I bought this brush last month. It works great when snow accumulation is not that large and it's fluffy. the other day, I tried with wet snow. Snow was getting stuck on the brush and kept blowing back towards me. so it was more work than using a shovel. you just need to switch around tools depending on what kind of snow you get. Overall I like this brush to clean off snow from the ground.

    I acquired this attachment in anticipation of snow last week. For it to work as shown, snow needs to be really so light that a shovel is actually way faster and easier. It *can* be used for this, but there really is no point to it.
    I expect the brush to be more useful in spring for silt on the patio and possibly light dethatching.

      I have a north facing driveway that doesn't get any sun in the winter, so it becomes very icy if I let snow sit on it. I purchased one of these last winter to quickly scrub away any lingering snow after I blow/shovel. It's been a game changer and it's now so much safer to walk on my driveway and walkway in the winter now. No need to salt.
      A friend had one and I purchased it after seeing how effective it is in the use case described. I 100% that it's not a substitute for a shovel. It's a scrubber/cleaner.

    Having watched all these videos, I think I'm gonna still use my Snowblower or shovel to remove the snow, then follow behind with the brush to scrape off what's left, to ensure it doesn't harden into ice later. I feel like that's a better use for the broom, and could potentially help prevent the need to salt

    Use rubber paddle instead of plastic paddle. Wow nice video I'm going to buy it after watching this video

    As seen in this video I have also noticed that some snow comes back over the top so you have to make a 2nd pass. In my experience this only happens when I use a 2.5 or 5.0 Ah battery. I used smaller batteries for less weight and the tool doesn't use much power so I didn't need a large battery. When I use a 7.5 Ah battery it doesn't happen. Maybe the larger battery provides more power so the brush spins faster and clears the snow without pulling it back over the top. Happens on both low and high speed settings. Not sure what size battery was used in this video.

      @shion_lwn 2 года назад

      that's good to know. I have used both 2.5 and 5.0 Ah batteries and yes, snow comes back when the accumulation is larger. I haven't tried with 7.5Ah battery. I will try and see if 7.5Ah makes some difference.

    If this is only really effective with like fluffy snow, I’d stick with my cordless less blower which does a quick job of cleanup of fluffy snow.

    You can use the backpack to put a larger battery that way your arms won’t carry the whole weight of the battery

    The brush is heavy. I think for light fluffy snow you're better off using the leaf blower. This brush might be good for cleaning up a pile of mulch that was dumped on your driveway.

    I realized that that is the way the brushes are supposed to rotate by looking at the cotter pins at the end of the brushes spinning counter clockwise. So there is nothing wrong with my device!

    Im glad this vid is only approx 3 weeks old, I have a problem that I really hope u can help me with! Does the bristle brush att arrow is on top of the shaft that goes into the power head or on the bottom? What Im trying to say is my brushes are pulling toward me not pushing away from me. There is only a coulpe of vids on the assembly and didnt show any finer points or trouble shooting if something is wrong. I love this thing but Im bummed out that is not running right at this moment! I cant figure it out Ive tried several things its probably a quick fix I hope! Please help me out or other UTubers that will know what to do in this case!!

      Agreed. It probably is no less work than shoveling but I think it does clean better and it's another use for a great tool. The only down side in my opinion is that the brush is much heavier than I expected.

      @@jamie8917 What else do you use it for? I was thinking of getting one. I was dissappointed, watching your video, how much the snow blew back towards you, on the area you just cleaned.

    • @jamie8917
      @jamie8917 3 года назад

      @@chrisanderson8553 This is probably more snow than I would use it for but yes even with smaller amounts some snow did also fly back towards me. It is not a deal breaker for me but I was disappointed to see that happen. The main reason I purchased this is to cleanup all the street sand that goes into the grass the city trucks put down through the winter. I usually rent a power brush so now I will use this. I also use my blower to clear leaves out of mulched gardens and that causes mulch to blow into the grass. In the spring I will use this to sweep that mulch back into the gardens before adding fresh mulch.

      My buddy has one of these. He first pushes the snow away with a shovel or snowblower, then her comes back with the brush to completely clean his driveway and walkway. Without the brush, the remnants left behind from the shovel often ice up on his driveway and makes it very slick, as the sun never hits his driveway in the winter.

      I doubt it will make a difference since the weight also comes from the top (where the battery is) as well as the force comming from the broom. When I walk forward, the broom goes in reverse so you fight against it. (does a better clearing job that way)
