What type of fabric did you use for the base with the zip please? Also i noticed you just cut the fabric through the middle of the zip. Do you leave these unfinished, it didnt appear that you finished these in any way. Thank you
the fabric is called Nautolex cushion underlining, it comes in 4 colours, its marine grade, breathable and dose not fray so the ends don't need to be finished good for indoor and outdoor cushions

The fabric that the zipper is sewn onto doesn’t fray

@@LeahSleeth once you cut the fabric along the zipper teeth, fold the excess under itself and then top stitch it in place
