My condolences to you. I lost my grandfather earlier this year and the watches he owned were given to me. One thing I love about watch collecting is how each piece can signify an important memory or point of time in your life. ❤
Thank you very much. That’s an awesome inheritance. Yes, the deeper I get into collecting the more I realize the memories that are made. Thank you again ❤️
Very sorry to hear about your loss. I was far closer to my grandparents than my parents. I'm happy that you got to share the watch with her, though. Congratulations on the piece. I have a green bezel sub myself, and I absolutely love it. It's a fantastic pool/summer/vacation watch.
Thank you so much. I was very close with my grandmother too. I am glad I got to share this one with her, and thank you for the congrats! I agree that it is a fantastic piece :)
Thanks for sharing. I tried one on at the AD since I’m registered for it. I couldn’t believe how light it was since I’m used to wearing all of my Rolex pieces with precious metals.
That’s great! Haha yeah, stainless steal is definitely lighter than precious metals. I’m not sure how I would like a PM watch, I have been looking at an oyster flex Daytona though.
@@watchgrok I since bought my first full steel piece a few weeks ago, an Air King, which I love to use as my daily since it’s unlikely to get scratched easily. I picked it up from the AD window. Oysterflex Daytonas are amazing. I know everyone has their own taste, but I personally would like a full gold bracelet, maybe full rose gold Daytona with the sundust dial.
@@P8REN Congrats on the pickup! That is a gorgeous piece. Everyone having their own taste makes this whole hobby so great. We can appreciate all the pieces while knowing which ones fit our own collections and tastes!
Thanks for sharing! Watches and their stories.. 💪🏽💪🏽 Don’t beat yourself up with the pip. Sometimes their souls need to rest. Happy Holidays ✌️
Thank you, and happy holidays!

This is so stupid what does Rolex have to do with Starbucks? I can’t stop laughing.
Haha, not sure where the name came from 😝
