- As you drive along, Cross Traffic Warning is able to pick up road signs. So it can indicate that you need to give way, for example, as you're approaching a junction.
This is compatible with models G0x, G1x, G2x, G3x, F9x with the operating system ID6 and ID7.

You should not reverse into traffic. Park in reveres.

BMW advertising all these excellent driver aids and yet when I put my order in for a fully loaded BMW 5series, I was told that I could not have certain features due to a chip shortage and that BMW were now rationing the chips on each model to what you can actually have added to the car. I felt a little cheated that I could not get everything I wanted on my chosen car.

There’s nothing BMW can do about a global issue in almost every single market….like seriously what are you expecting?
My FULLY LOADED 2022 BMW X5 45e can't even recognize and stop in my driveway for a Trash Can. Please don't believe all this canned animated marketing material. This is something standard that most 2022 vehicles can do. I feel completely cheated and will never again waste my money on a BMW.

Same here too! Thought it was just my car! No matter the setting , nothing lights or sounds for me aside from basic lane departure & that fails oftentimes 😡
Maybe its not activ in your car setting ? (it was my case, i had to activate them)

100% rubbish. This is probably my first common in RUclips, in more than 10 years, coz I really have to speak the truth. I just bought my BMW 320i, 3 weeks go. And nearly had 3 accidents because BMW’s safety features. Anyway, the rear traffic alert won’t pick any cars driving behind you unless they are inches away from you. And by the time alert start warning you, you are already involved in an accident! Serious no joke, imagine you have kids or friends sitting on the back seat!! There are also some other safety issues with my BMW too. BMW is a good car, but the rear sensors and blind spots are just completely rubbish!!
I thought it was just me bc unlike my former e300 which gave me well in advance audible and visual alarms AND saved me one time by hammering on the break when I was backing up and didn’t see a car in the parking lot.. BMW now and the X3 wont give me anything for the most part aside from blind spot… some close calls and nada 👎
