I dont know where yall are a getting 15 from he avg 10 on that championship team on 9 shots and making 4, whereas melo was taking 18 shots his rookie year and shot a worse percentage than tayshuan, so it’s easy to say melo wouldn’t avg 20 when you use logic.

@@tellthetruthrightnow like Gil said Melo would’ve been another harden on OKC or Manu on the Spurs, because of how Larry Brown would’ve used him. There's a reason there have been reports throughout Melo's career of him causing issues due to his selfishness, including from Chauncey Billups who stated Melo was too concerned with getting scoring numbers, that scoring was often more important to Melo than even winning the game. Larry Brown had Melo on the bench during the Olympics, and Melo basically discarded his medal. That's the kind of mindset and behavior that causes issues.

It’s just contrarianism. No one with any basketball knowledge ever suggested Melo was more talented than Bron through his whole career. Because it’s a ridiculous thing to say. Thats not an insult to Melo, Bron is a top 2 player of all time.

It’s crazy how Gil proved their point & they weren’t articulate enough to say it. Melo woulda been like OKC harden in the beginning and then once the team became his then he would have turned into the melo we all know. Kawhi Leonard is a perfect example

When Melo was drafted he went into a better situation than Bron and always had the better team ( his first stint in Cleveland ) and didn’t do anything. He had every chance to have a better career and choose not to🤷🏽

He went to a 19 win team on the west. Hardly a better situation. Also Melo took Denver to the playoffs every year he was there. Lebron didnt.

The thing is we all wanted him … Chauncey tayshaun and Ben would’ve made sure he moved on defense and that would’ve became apart of his actual game because of his vets on top of that being the championship roster that year
