i have a feeling it will get pretty dark in tone towards the end because something major must happen to have Prime and Megatron start to absolutely hate each other despite being friends back during this time frame.
I've been thinking the exact same thing, unless they plan on doing a prequal trilogy or something really taking their time to evolve the characters to that point, but it looked like they showed a bit of when Megatron/D-16 brands himself with the Decepticon logo. Either way, I'm excited!
They target new young fans. Fully animated. Origin story. No humans. Before the great war. Optimus and megatron still friends as Orion pax and d16 . So I'm okay with this. It's something new. I wonder what will happen in the end of this movie? Will Optimus and megatron go to their separate ways in the end? Will the actual war starts? The beginning of 2 factions? I'm very interested.
I have been called a geewunner before but i've enjoyed almost all Transformers shows and comics in various forms from the original to now EXCEPT the Michael Bay movies. I think this movie looks cool. It's giving me good vibes. I am not a G1 purist just because I hate the Bayverse, this movie looks fun. It reminds me of the way I played with toys as a kid tbh.
