Can you guys bring library for gears and toothed pulley and belt
driven dimensions outside of sketches 👏thank you
You are welcome! 😁
the fastener library is awesome. Thank you guys!
This vid makes me realise how little i actually know about f360
Cool!
I really appreciate the fastener function. This will save so much time down the line it is not even funny :).
great stuff in all the recent updates... keep it coming!
At last! Bolts!
This is awesome. What an update! 😍
The demo didn't display hole backside nut and washer function of the fastener feature. Thats where SolidWorks has come up short for YEARS
I was just frustrated by not being able to reference a driven dimension today, had to write out a formula on a sticky note to copy into another feature. I should have just updated this morning instead of putting it off to the end of the day lol. Thank you so much! Love the rest of the updates as well.
You're so welcome! We love it when our updates provide immediate value 😁
cool
Cool! New improvments! But will it be possible to get gravity for some assembly it will be really great! There are contacts between components but maybe you can go further (gravity like in blender for example).
I’m making the transition from Solidworks and if it’s a Little bit hard (for constrain it’s hard to get all the subleties) but Fusion is a really great software at a very affordable price. Bravo, continue to regularly bring new features and improvements I find with fusion a listening to the user that there is not at Solidworks.
While we are on the subject of software updates, I wish to bring to your attention the problem presented by recent statements, that the Eagle product is about to be abolished. This is both unnecessary and an affront. I paid perfectly good sums of money to acquire Eagle with a supposed permanent license, learned and applied the knowledge needed to successfully use this tool, then finally acquiesced to the forced conversion to a subscription, just so my business can continue without disruption. Now I am looking at a multiyear project to convert all my libraries and other IP for use with Fusion. I really cannot afford to do that at this moment. The least disruptive approach for long-time users such as myself would be to reconvert back to a non-subscription, if not open it up as the free legacy tool it has been for at least the last 15 years.
Yeah, I was shocked too. Very foolish of them.
Any idea if fasteners can be added as Configured components? Then you could have a multiple-sizes configured design with auto-filled fasteners to match the size.
Thanks for the fastener function, finally :) Did a quick test, and it looks very promising!
Hoping we'll see similar library functions for other standard driven parts :)
Any chance the latest driver for Spacemouse has been updated/fixed?
I had to switch to the legazy driver option a few weeks ago when things got messed up, I think one axis was missing?
On the bottom of the screen you have the orbit tool on the far left side, if you click on that you can select “Free orbit” to move in all axis. I just learned about this last night lol
@@quincytrott9298 for the normal Orbit command, or specific to the 3DConnexion Spacemouse? :) I haven't tested if Fusion have updated the Latest driver yet, I'll have to do that :)
Now open Up Fusion 360 fully to Fusion 360 Manage and integrate electronic design in the release process! That's to only real show stopper for large scale industry applications.
Just like the new "Configure" feature, the "Fasteners" feature seems to be only for "Teams" users and not for "Single License" users. I would be curious to know how many users use the Teams vs Single User option. Why don't they offer these features for both types of users?
I cannot find any form of wood skrew in the library. Is this true?
Looks like some good updates especially for the not so sexy drawings. Please don’t bury these in extensions like you seem to be doing with other useful features. Remember engineers are engineers at home too - if you have them using your software for a decent price at home they may convince their company to buy it too.
Still no dark mode user interface?
Looking forward to the frame generator if it ever comes....
Let's just just call it weldments just so they don't try to copy the turd from Inventor
@@BGraves hm hm strange name for something that works...
Would love the ability to do patent drawings in future updates
Are you Apple silicon native yet?
We rolled out Apple Silicon support as part of our July release! autode.sk/49iBkdW
@@adskFusion That's a lie. It's not 100% native.
Autodesk lied to you, it is not 100% native yet. Few more years...
Next up: embossing text onto surfaces that are not a cylinder or flat?
Already possible.
My "Insert Fastener" icon is greyed out and not working. Any ideas?
You need to turn on design history first unfortunately.
@@Te4mUp My history is turned on, model is almost complete and I thought I would add some fasteners to finish it.
@@randywetzler5976 Dang. Probably a bug. Fusion is a mess
Only works in team hub not personal hubs.
@@motolife6962
Yes, I finally figured this out the other day after doing some googling. For those struggling use this search phrase "How to transfer Fusion 360 projects from Single User Storage to a Fusion Team Hub"
"insert fastener" is greyed out for me :(
You need to turn on design history first unfortunately.
@@Te4mUp i always have the timeline on
@@javipk7 Probably a bug then. Fusion is d*gsh*t
are you using a team site or still on an old personal hub?
Yeah it only works in team hub not personal hubs.
Привет, можно ли взвесить модель?. Например нарисовать модель указать из какого материала это будет и fusion покажет вес детали.
Buggiest software I've ever used. Even buggier than wine programs ran on a hackintosh.
I just do simple things as I'm just learning, but even something as simple as putting 6 threaded holes in a pattern will lock up the program and then create an error report! I'm amazed at the software and the fact that Fusion 360 is supposedly one of the best design software's on the market. I can't imagine doing a complex design with it!
You always bring your A-game, thank you for your dedication.
Thank you!
