    I’d love to see where Alviso ranks among all US bike races, by viewership. Thousands of people watch this lunchtime hammerfest.

    There are plenty research results showing that ketones before a hard effort do not help or have negative effects. What does help is taking bicarbonate before the effort and using the ketones as a recovery drink

      He’s selling out for the money. He knows ketones do jack sh*t for crits. The company even has predatory practices forcing you into a subscription for the single servings. They claim “brain fuel”. Well at least we know which company is selling snake oil and to stay away from them

    just got into bike riding a few years ago and started to do some training cirts. Everyone says hold your line in the corners but know one says what that means. Does it mean hold a constant distance from the inside of the turn, does it mean take the best line, what is "your line"

    • @tadziu2400
      @tadziu2400 11 месяцев назад +4

      Your line is... your line. If you are in the middle of the road before the turn, then on the turn continue to ride in the middle, if you are riding on the right side of the road, then on the turn do not change it. It might be easier for you If you change lines to cut the turn, but when you are in peleton you can casue a crash this way because you enter someone else's line

    • @damo5219
      @damo5219 11 месяцев назад +4

      As you enter a corner, stay consistant pace, pedal smoothness, and a consistant turn around the corner. Don't go on the inside of the turn, Dont swing wide, Dont try to overtake, or drop speed. This ensures everyone gets through the corner safely, and we take our beautiful bikes home in 1 piece.

    • @EJGilb
      @EJGilb 11 месяцев назад

      Mostly depends on your bunch skills, but also your raw watts because it's flat, so it's a maybe.

    • @michadebicki6534
      @michadebicki6534 11 месяцев назад

      flat course and you're heavy rider - maybe if you have bunch skills. There more raw power matters. On hilly course not possible.

    Are the roads closed? You're jumping all the red lights so I wonder what would happen if an accident occurred. I talking about who would be at fault.
    Just curious about that, of course I'm hoping that nothing will ever happen

    • @MiketheBassMan
      @MiketheBassMan 11 месяцев назад +4

      @@paulluckner411 You are supposed to stop for red lights and stop signs on a bicycle before turning right, but it's not enforced at all and generally accepted that bikes can roll through. If you get hit, though, it's your fault.
