I don't race, but I've seen Alviso a million times at this point... if I ever come out that way I'd want to visit just for a cheap thrill. "Whoa, it's that house!"
Same boat lol - I ride mtb and mostly downhill… Jeff makes crits look exciting though and now I’m shopping road bikes. Let’s hope the wife doesn’t see this approaching hobby buy too soon …
Very classy way to introduce your advertisers, I hope yhey are getting the results they want because your presentation was excellent: didn't take away from the video and wasn't too long, just right.
Great video as usual. Just wanna say Donald is freaking amazing. When I dream about being strong he is my spirit animal FRFR. Love the way he rides on the road and the track. And he is humble as they come.
Feels bad getting nonstop attacked by Steve after already a long day in the breakaway . Cat and mouse games like this are fun tho I also didn’t realize that Donald basically led out the field on the last lap lol
@@josephsong8911 Don't wanna start a shitstorm in the comment section , but there is no longer a channel NorCal Cycling 2 out there and no more EJ in the videos. Which might give you a hint.
Ej and Logan were both beginners starting with no endurance training and no crit experience and I’m incredibly proud of how far each of them got from the start of the year to the end. But ya it’d be hard to do season three at this point I’ll need a break at the very least
Are Steve R. super dynamic Aero Socks Alviso legal? One can just see, from your camera's view, the wind-cheating advantage of those black Aero bad-boy socks when you are behind him. The big question is, how aero were your socks? seemed to have kept that a secret in the introduction portion of this video 😉LOL Reaney's socks are the next-level type of kit. And seems Steve did not know where the finish line was?
Love these videos! Are you required to race the cervelo when racing with your team and at sanctioned events? Obviously alviso isn’t sanctioned and you went to Chicago solo but you’re wearing the team jersey at alviso. I’m assuming the mikes bikes sponsors don’t mind? Genuinely curious and I assume it depends on the contract your team has with each sponsor. Either way keep up the great content!
Great video and commentary as always... STUPID QUESTION!? You use that safety strap on your Garmin... I lost my strap a long time ago and also have never had one come loose? Has this happened to you before? Are you racing on cobbles!? 😂 Seriously, curious though...
I would have lost my Garmin a few weeks ago at 60kp/h on a downhill section without the safety strap because I hit a hole in the street I didn’t see before and it completely ruined my garmin mount. The plastic inner thing of it that holds the garmin after you turn it 1/4 just broke. So yes, i would definitely recommend using that strap :)
How do you learn when your pedal is going to clip and when you can keep pedalling through a corner? Because right now I just stop pedalling every corner...
Saw the cop sitting on the side of the road 2nd to last lap. Do they ever talk shit about you guys running red lights / stop signs and using multiple lanes? These races happen every week, so they must know about it.
Skyscraper is right, Scott sponsored my and EJs trip to race and make content in Chicago. Incidentally, mikes bikes will be carrying Scott in the near future
you can see a TON of marks on the road from cars doing burnouts, so i get the feeling no one is too concerned about what goes down around there unless it's super illegal. what blows my mind is all that open space in the SF greater area that isn't filled with housing. is that because of the power lines?
@@the_joe_reynolds_foundation - It's close to the marshes of the Bay, and I believe is all zoned as business and no businesses have purchased the land.
Why is that one guy wearing compression socks up to his knees? Does he have varicose veins? Or maybe he has circulation issues? You usu only see really old people looking like that……
Jeff, considering the other crits I have seen you rode, I am now thinking that Alviso is a joke. When you are amongst the real heavy hitters you appear normal. Lets put some context at play, at Alviso you film from the front but other crits you film from the back which give us nothing to see.
Could you get a buddy to run a drone above you during certain sections? That footage would be great to explain certain situations.
💯💯💯
That would be so cool!

petition to force jeff to also include the end footage and everyone's reaction of the alviso races
Hello Jeff, I don't ride road bikes but I enjoy watching your videos. Keep uploading man, I enjoy every video you upload.

Love the shoulder camera
That was a fun watch and listen.
excellent. i wanna share this with my buddies when the time is right. dang that was dope.
We definitely need more alviso again! Great race!
Sweet race! Solid strategies and great fun for everyone!
Nice win!!!!
Loved the 80s music Jeff!
I was a bit worried for you that Steve would beat you. He's still fast!
very fast
Love the timelapse
Steve is an absolute beast, great to see him in the vid
Love the content Jeff... Always look forward to your videos.
The music in this video is RAD.
I enjoy your videos Jeff. Keep up the good work.
Hey Jeff, if you can please make a video comparing a tight kit vs a loose kit because I want to know how much it affects aerodynamics
great idea!
Really cool video to watch 👍🏼 I’m cat 5, New York City.
amazing performance
Wow EJ's doppelganger OTF... -U10
Jeff, he nearly pipped you. Good ride
I know Steve is strong 😅
like a sharpened blade- that fitness ! Haha, good racing
NEW ROAD MARKINGS!
Amazing fitness is definitely there
You should mention that Steve Reaney has won elite crit nationals in the past!
MVP Donnie leading you out for the last 6km! Why did he do that!?!
Great videos. Are these courses closed in the direction you are racing or is there Marshalls?
Smart tyre choice contis and latex. 👍👍👍👍👍

Like 25kmph average dudes try to reach crit fitness.
Not sure if there is going to be "season 3" judging by the way it ended last time

What do you think of the Dura-ace wheels vs. everything you've ridden before?
Afterburner ftw.
Jeff have you ever considered a rear view mirror? They're dorky but effective. Take A Look makes a good one.
That's funny, exactly as I describe my take a look mirror, dorky looking but effective. My guess is that rear view mirrors are against the rules?

I think he must have varicose veins to be wearing something like that. You only see em on really old geriatric people.
lol I noticed those UCI illegal sock length too, it kind of seems like he was the only one that was sporting the illegal length
