Thanks for reviewing! I may buy this just for extra parts, would come in handy, especially the new mudguards! Again great job and thanks for reviewing!
I have this set, its nice but the only thing im not a fan of is the wheel size. Its on the small side and I know, I know they couldn’t take a bigger size because of the steering. Overall, I like the set.
I like the way on how you open the box, you don't follow the procedure, I'm assuming that the box will remain for sometime, as this sets is like a gift to you Nice style of review, im waiting for motorizations of yours
Well I simply don't like to rip them apart, and sometimes I take photos of the box after opening it so better to be careful :) Thanks for the nice words, this one will be an interesting challenge as the space inside is very limited (especially for a battery box), we'll see what I can do :)
So many guys in YT creating awesome MOCs that Lego could hire to design nice sets, or at least buy the projects, but what Lego did? Allowed the designers to create these shameful sets.
The price to build these sets. The cost of plastic use in lego is getting more expensive. So lego has to be even more flexible with how they build sets. Which means you spend more and more on decent sets and a whole lot more for a great set. Plus if mocs were released by lego those technic sets would be thousands of dollars more expensive. Like the 911 Porsche it was 300 dollars yes and many lego fans have made their own lego technic porsches that look better. But it took way longer to find the peices and come up with idea. Which would make a moc set more expensive which means less sets would be made.
But I'm not saying that Lego should only create sets like the Porsche and Bugatti sets, or copy YT MOCs which are associated with other trademarks, I know that it would make the sets much more expensive (and if 300 dollars is expensive for you, imagine for who lives in Brazil, as me, where it costs 2500 reais, or, converting dollars, around 640 USD). I mentioned the guys that build them (the MOCs) as a way to say that most of the time they have better ideas to design and build models then some Lego designers. Just take as an exemple this Corvette. I didn't mean to say that Lego only should build it as a top class set as Chiron's one. But maybe hirind those MOC creators they could change something, to make the set better. I bet that those guys would do at least the front of the car a thousand times better then the actual model, which in my opinion is quite terrible. If they had not written "Corvette" in the box, I probably would say that this set was just a generic car, because it doesn't look as a Corvette in almost anything.
yes, MOC designers are very good (I'm actually one) and yes, lego could hire them but lago does not make bad sets, this is a €39.99 set, of course lego cut some corners for this cheap of a set but it is for kids which is why they put a HOG knob or a fake engine.
i agree, you shouldn't look at it as a corvette 😬 the overall shaping is ok, but details are not. it's for sure a great donor of cool panels (throw away stickers) and generic pieces.
2:50 Racing Brick; please please please please do avid on how to do this because I May have the pieces, and I also really want this set!!!!!!!! Also: the wing looks WAaAaaAAaAay too high so if u could mod that, that'd be great

The most iconic American sports car only gets this. Pretty bad compared to the Porsche, Bugatti and the LeMans racers. Very disappointing Lego. Here's to hoping you take a car like the '63 split window, or the C7-R and do a proper set like the Bugatti.
@@RacingBrick agree, but if you call it Corvette I'll compare it for sure with a Corvette. Otherwise you, Lego, call it "racing car" and it's ok and more correct..
instructions for the fixed front please!

I think you can still build the B-model without the mudguards ;-)
That B model looks like fun!
Want it so much thks for the review

it contains those illusive orange number 3 connectors ;)
the 3 is the length of the axle
Thanks for the review mate! Now I know if I’m gonna buy it or not
Which one is it

No, this is a great set for a 10 year old.

Why Lego? Why not change the headlights before releasing that set? Only the rear looks like a Corvette.
I bought the set last night and it I being shipped tommorow. Can't wait lol
When did this come out? This is awesome! Just wish it was a bit bigger

I think in gonna get this for christmas
Yeah me too
I'm gonna raise my money to get one :)

the front looks like it hit a tree... the back looks a little better
Can't complain the price is great for the design if you ask me
It looks good from the side and back, but I'm not a fan of the front.

The rear is ugly
I buyed this my mom go to my store
That front is just too ugly.
Maybe the ugliest technic set ever
If you don't look at it as a Corvette it is actually pretty ok considering the size.
@@RacingBrick agree, but if you call it Corvette I'll compare it for sure with a Corvette. Otherwise you, Lego, call it "racing car" and it's ok and more correct..
Can't argue with that, as I said in the review it should have been an unbranded car and everyone would be happy with it
