I've just finished building it - after almost 20 years i came back to Lego. Love it. P.S. I've attached rear spring in wrong hole, so thanks for Your repair tutorial.

I’m currently working on this one, but I got the MOC static one and honestly you do need full concentration, especially when the instruction manual is PDF and admittedly my fingers are sore as some of the complicated pieces are apart and you have to fit them together, (the other side of not being able to buy the Lego version as it’s usually up to 3 times more expensive than the MOC version, but seriously who doesn’t like a sweet bargain???) I must admit I’m enjoying this build, it’s challenging when you’re old like me with nerve problems but it’s intriguing as well as mesmerising to see how all the parts connect. I would recommend this set
The wheels look fantastic, I need to get some of those. Nice and a very realistic design, reminds me of many actual high performance wheels. Would look great in a sports or racing car.
The color choice is awesome !! It's the green jeep from my childhood memories !! I'm tempted to buy it because of that, and also because the gear seems interesting and there are nice suspensions. We'll see. Good idea. I hope they do a "good" bicycle soon or a Ford GT. :)
This is a great set! I personally was not a fan of the roof rack and used the parts for a nice front bumper instead. I also used some parts from my own collection to make a little hood prop that folds down in front of the engine nicely but is a bit fragile.

Honestly I love this set so much, but I still wish they hadn’t made the gear box so hard on the u joints, because mine keeps ceasing up and making cracking sounds because of all the weight of the gear box, and I need to keep it in the lower gears.
I’ve watched this 34 times because of the music and how much I love this set, don’t have it yet but I can’t decide over this set and the Chiron or Sian
Thanks for the review. Surely this is one of the better LEGO Technic sets this year. The only thing that is a bit of a pity is that we again get a new technic panel colour. It does suite the set though.
Love the video. This Land Rover is my 1st Lego build. My wife surprised me. Challenging! I've finished Section #1. I think I did it right but all the gears aren't moving in unison. Is there a function test at the end of each section to determine if you've screwed up before moving forward and making a bigger problem? Thanks for your input.

At 6:43, I wonder if there's space to swap the gears around so that it's 24/8 instead of 8/24? That way the adding the PF motor may be more feasible and it should be a small change to achieve mobility. Or at worst, use two medium gears (16/16) or even 20/12 gearset?
Great review/analysis. Just bought one. Having only ever built the Rally car from 2018 the build process of this one almost looks too intermediate. Other than that love the completed design, and I have no real issue with the color.
i had to remove the gearbox because of the clicking sound. the clicks stop the engine from moving in every gear. i tried every possible fix including DESTROYING AND REBUILDING the whole car and still had no change. now it runs on one speed and is like most one speed Technic cars in my collection. i have built numerous Technic cars and trucks and have never had anything like this happen.
