Seriously, Death Battle's 2d and pixel animations have upped in quality. Their 3d ones have kinda dropped off though. They have also been giving their fights more story to them then just people show up and fight.
@@requiem6465 I liked Gogeta vs Vegito but Jason vs Michael was my least favorite of the season... but that isn't saying much since for other seasons they'd be the highlight. This season was just that good.
@@requiem6465 To be fair, Jason and Michael aren't exactly known for being quick or agile (9 times out of ten, if they're shown on the move, they're at most walking quickly, they're rarely if ever shown running). They're slasher villains, the whole point is that they show up from out of nowhere and if you see them move at all, it's often at a menacingly slow walk. The actual kills usually happen when the slasher in question manages to take their victim completely by surprise. So they really couldn't have done much about Jason vs Michael in that regard, but they clearly tried to make it engaging and exciting all the same.
@@gamester512 I just didn't like how a solid chunk was spent on college kids when they only needed to be there for the opening as set dressing. The fight should've just been them hacking at one another and trying to withdraw, set up traps and sneak attack each other until one goes down *permamently*.

Harley vs Jinx and Saitama vs Popeye were incredible. The only meh one in recent DB was Boba vs Predator.
