I think Emirichu is one of those people who prefer cleaner taste like no extra/artificial flavor but natural unmodified taste.
You know trash taste has had debates over burgers, bacon, chicken, bread, banana which are pretty dicey( garnt : 90% of bread tastes the same)
if she only eats the broth and noodles of Ramen go get chicken noodle soup
I don't know what fruits and topping anything having to do with savoury pancakes.
Ramen restaurants are opening here if you guys never had any yet some even serve a few of the mentioned food.
Honestly when that instant ramen hot take hit me I could hear the screams of trillions so enraged that it makes the victims on alderaun look like a crying toddler

Ngl, I almost completely agree with her list. Udon > Soba > Tsukemen > Somen > Ramen. I agree with her instant ramen being superior to ramen most of the time. Maybe it's the age... but I just don't want the amount of sodium and fat in ramen... if I DO want to treat myself, I'd rather eat Tsukemen. Instant ramen, one might argue, has more sodium... which is true, but I don't use the packets that come with it. I just enjoy adding bok choy, and other asian veggies to it with a soft boiled egg.

As much as I like to think of chocolate as my favorite flavor, I still have to say logically vanilla is the surpreme flavor because of it’s possibilities in customization. Any toppings, syrups, and others with almost always mix well with it and won’t clash with the flavor
That's honestly why I prefer vanilla overall. I can add things to it if I want certain flavors with my frozen dessert.
That's true. I prefer strawberry ice cream but that's probably more due to the fact that the ice cream I get is decent. And I only get the ones that have real strawberries and look pale pink.
Anyway, when strawberry ice cream isn't an option, I go with vanilla since it's the safest option. I used to love chocolate but over the years it just tastes like iced coffee and I hate iced coffee (I love hot coffee tho)
Food taste is one of the things that is truly subjective in this life. Obiective measure is primarily measured within the food itself to whether the thing itself is made well.

I have a love hate relationship with coconut. I absolutely love the flavor of coconut, especially coconut cream, but I absolutely DESPISE the texture of physical coconut, so there's so many things labeled coconut that I want to try and become so disappointed when they use physical coconut instead of just flavoring.
As a matter of fact, I think vanilla is better than chocolate because you can make it taste even better than the original! Adding any random flavor will still make it tasty, for example!
No it isn’t. Vanilla is too easily buried under other flavors. Chocolate keeps the lesser flavors in check.

You want a good balance and vanilla does not do that. Unless you have it as a majority and dominant flavor.
Chocolate is strong, but can also be mixed with other flavors so it isn’t lost. It’s still there and more noticeable than vanilla.

In Sweden, different pizzas have their own names. For example a cheese pizza is called a Margherita, adding ham changes it to a Vesuvio and adding mushrooms on top of that makes it a Capricciosa.
The reason they don't like Udon is maybe they eat it slow and without slurping. You need to make noise and slurp the udon so it tastes

As someone who was born and raised in California, let me just say….
I apologize for the sins we have done to pizza. While this will never relieve us of our sins, we just hope to forever bury anything we call pizza and just keep focusing on Mexican and Asian food.
Nah dude, don't apologize about that. Pizza is not a Californian strong suit and never has been. That's like traveling to New York and wondering where the good BBQ places are. Or going to Texas and getting a good bagel. Just because some hippie put kale and broccoli on a pizza and the vegan lovers liked it does not make it something that california is known for. It's food truck tacos, avocados, wine, asian food(asian american food as well), cioppino, and sourdough.

I'd say that just out of vanilla chocolate and strawberry, vanilla is definitely my favorite. I just feel like it is so much more customizable than the other flavors, and Blue Bell's Homemade Vanilla is quite possibly my favorite ice cream, even just by itself.
For chocolate ice cream, I can understand why it's not some people's favorite. I know a few people who absolutely hate chocolate ice cream. Personally, it's growing on me, but I'm not a huge chocolate fan in general (I would eat fruit for every desert before I would crave something chocolatey). Chocolate ice cream in general for me is just too one note.
As for strawberry ice cream, it used to be my favorite, but now it's just sort of somewhere in the middle. I like ice cream with strawberries in it, like a vanilla strawberry combo, but just straight up strawberry ice cream most of the time for me is just too much artificial strawberry. (Once again I sing the praises of Blue Bell and point out their strawberry vanilla is also a favorite of mine, but then again I just love their homemade vanilla that much lol)
All in all, we all have our preferences, and it's interesting to see where others stand.

Man food is something; when it comes down to it, I'll eat anything, if its good, I'll eat it, if I dont like it...I'll try and eat as much as I can so I dont just waste too much.
Its like when it comes down to taste, and how its made, like example I love is Gumbo (I was living with a family member for a funeral and they made gumbo and MAN WAS THAT STUFF GOOD!!), but yeah I love the Seafood Shacks version, but I've tried the version in Red Pier and I do not like it.

Strawberry ice cream is underrated. Chocolate ice cream is overrated.
I eat anything chocolate flavoured then my lactose intolerance goes into overdrive.
Same though nowadays there's much more "Regular Chocolate" flavored things than there used to be, as opposed to "Milk Chocolate" which is really the provider of milk in many chocolate flavored products.
As well there's the Lactase Enzyme Supplements that can make digesting Dairy easier (however not eliminate the issue entirely) for those of us not blessed with a body that can produce it... *Fun fact, Lactose Intolerance isn't a case of "the minority have a defect leaving them without this thing while the majority has it always" it actually has to do with heritage being "the majority can produce this thing due to ancestors' habits while the minority's ancestors weren't exposed to it enough to produce it on their own". (I have no idea if those without Lactose Intolerance are in the majority, I was just using that for the explanation.)
In more detail the human didn't "originally" produce the Lactase to break down Lactose on it's own, only needing to do so when people started consuming Dairy consistently which contained it, meaning if you had ancestors from a country with no access to Dairy then their bodies would've never started producing it and thus leave a chance for that lack of a trait to be passed down to you.
I personally agree the hot take that chocolate ice cream is meh. I've always preferred vanilla and strawberry over chocolate.

My little siblings have either microwavable or stovetop ramen all the time and it smells like shit, plus the microwaveable ramen gets juices on the microwave plate and they sometimes forget to wipe it up, so my plates of food get ramen juices on the bottom and the stink permeates into my food.

I've always found chocolate ice cream to be too chalky and heavy. Like I have minor exceptions to have chocolate on ice cream, if it is either a garnish/topping like chocolate pieces like my guilty pleasure, smashing a chocolate bar whether it be Hershey's or Kit Kats into small pieces and have it topped on vanilla which I would argue is the most flexible flavor to have any toppings or additions to it.
The only exception to a chocolate flavor is Rocky Road.
Some people don’t like ice cream because of the texture.

Cookies n' cream is now my substitute against just solid chocolate since I found out certain amounts of chocolate have been fucking up my stomach since I was a kid. Now I just basically can't have chocolate. Only small amounts, and my peers at school like to make a big ass deal about it while I internally scream. :>

Whenever I have Neapolitan ice cream, I eat all the flavors, vanilla chocolate, and strawberry. Personally, I got no problem with strawberry, but my personal favorite ice cream flavor is mint chocolate chip.

I never had Udon nor did I have restaurant style ramen, but what are Soba, Tsukemen, and Somen? And what is the difference between those in terms of taste?
Soba are buckwheat flour noodles that are often eaten cold with Japanese soy sauce (shoyu), Tsukemen are just dry ramen and eaten dipped into sauce, Somen are a kind of thin wheat noodles cooked in broth and eaten with chicken or fish soup.

There these place near my mom work that sell takoyaki and i understand why Emi doesn't like the sauce and flake but i like it and i agree with Joey as well i like the orange chicken at panda I've haven't had General Zhou chicken yet in my life the fried rice can use some work '' love fried rice '' I want to try that Japanese Okonomiyaki one day i have also yet to try true bowl of udon.

I was today's year old to learn there ar MF's in California putting Broccoli and Kale on f*cking pizza. My god.
I feel like I am the only one in the world who loves strawberry ice cream more than chocolate (overrated) and vanilla (boring) (shields up for both). Granted it isn't my fav Ice cream flavor (that's Pistachio), but it's top 5 at least. Only other fruit flavor I enjoy more than strawberry is amaretto ice cream. But I love the fruit and nut types of ice cream.
All the Japanese noodles they mentioned, the only ones I had were soba and udon. I never count instant ramen because it's bland. But I do like soba more than udon. Udon is great if mixed with a lot of sauce but otherwise it's bland. Then again I only had these noodles at a stir fry joint I used to work at.
Yeah I want to go to Japan to try their food one day too.
