Hi Pirate, great videos, this scooter looks similar to mine (LAOTIE TI30) can you confirm if the wheels are the same? I've owned and ridden 200km (road only) now rear wheel frozen, it does not spin when doing it by hand (or power) I can feel resistance, front motor is fine. When I pull throttle real wheel jerks (sometimes) only a few millimeters, when I rotate manually it will sometimes jerk a few millimeters. I am sure its a faulty motor. I tried to remove motor but I feel like I am missing something as having removed all the screws I could not figure how to get the motor out of the wheel without possible breaking something. Any help would be appreciated or maybe do a video? thanks
Feeling resistance when manually turning the motor could be a symptom of a blown speed controller. Have you tried connecting that speed controller to the front motor and see if the motor runs?

I wish i had your technical skills my friend. I have a 6000W 60 volt escooter. I tried to change the signal lights according to a video bybtge seller, there was a spark, now my rear motor doesnt work, nor my speedometer..i plugged my rear motor in my front controller and it didnt work. My question.is can a simple spark damage a motor that easy?? Fyi: im not tech savvy at all!!!! Oh, my Escooter has 23 km driving time and the company will not honor the warranty for repairs, they will send parts only after i send a video of the escooters current performance! I will neveri buy a product from a company i cant visit in person again when spending this much money. Id appreciate your thoughts.
@@PirateWasHere thank you! That's what I told the seller. It's still under warranty but they're refusing to pay for repairs. I neve even mentioned what happened, I just said the .Motor failed. The internal signal lights connectors have red and green wires, they send me replacement with red and black, so i matched the red... it just made sense. They won't admit fault. Their answer, sorry "We can't bare the cost"..lol I have 23 kms on it. Never again will I shop from a third-party seller from Amazon. Back to the repair, thet sent me a video of how to do the work. These guys are NUTS!! It's like a rata nest of wires and after I sent a photo to a potential technician, he said " don't bring it their, that's a horrible wiring job"
Basically, if your rear motor doesnt work then for 90% rear controller is damaged and have to be replaced , its very possible that this tiny spark did some internal short and only MCU for mosfets is not working. But yeah , as you see , its complex to explain.

This i VERY dangerous video, cause you did NOT describe it well. You did say NOTHING about that the scooter in not connected to the battery, but to your own lab power supply. You did not present the schema or say few words how the cables are connected. Some ppl can get hurt - especially if they have powerful scooters or want to do similar things on other machines. Thanks to you own test power supply (like riden or any other) you can adjust proper (safe) voltage/amperage and do this test safety and easy. Working on stator (and rotor) that is on can be dangerous! Also you did not show how you open the motor - and that can be sometimes frustrating. Otherwise, good video.
Well everything is dangerous, even sitting on the chair. If someone follow only one video, and do not understand that this stuff is dangeroua because there is lots of videos about it around , then what can i do . Even if u give to some people the schema and toools , they will messed up it anyway. You said SAFE, there is no such a thing if u have no idea what ure doing, connect 60V at 100mA to hall sensor board, it will fry faster than u can blink, or 5v power supply to 60v battery ;)
@@PirateWasHere "Well everything is dangerous, even sitting on the chair. If someone follow only one video, and do not understand that this stuff is dangeroua because there is lots of videos about it around , then what can i do ." that is why you should mention it. And by simply NOT saying that it NOT connected to main battery but you lab power supply, is... well dangerous for ppl who can try to do "just what this guy do!" Add some info in description at last. And that is why you should connect everything lab power supply, where you have full control. And any mistake is not so critical.

Hi Pirate, I have this problem on my Boyueda. I'm not sure how to open the wheel. Do you just pull the spindle with magnets through once you remove cap? Seems very well held in place.
hi i also ruined my hall transmitter latom that 41F 926 is in it you put 41F 920 in it i only get 41F 012 can i get good into it too? thanks
Hi Pirate, do you maybe know what it is, when I turn my front wheel with hand (forward only) I hear some little brush sound???
Pirate question.....dont they have a warranty for the scooter????
Standard hall sensor damage in hub motors over bumps. Nothing wrong with the controller most times.
hi are all the hall sensor the same it the 2800w the one u fixed... what i mean is are the 3 of them are the all 41f hall sensors
Hey pirate, so i recently repaired and fit a new motor cable , and the wheel only twitches, i dont have the small pcb that goes between the motor and controller, could this cause the issue? Any idea how to get one of those small pcb?
I was planning to get it..Pirate does it really have alot of issues or not...any other person that's experience these or you pirate what's the answer???
This is the question. Average folks don't possess this knowledge, I think. Lol
..hey Mr P heres a weird thing before when my scooter arrived , 1 of the blinkers didnt work , it came on but didnt flash and was very dime ! not since my motor has problem it has started working normal ! all power comes on console all lights work front rear and brake are ok ! but motor still has issue makes nose judders a but not run ! i check hall sensors like you explain , mine reads 4.9 i turn wheel and it goes to 0 then between 16. and 17. but my red and black read 4.3 on both !? any ideas please

Hi boss I have a mini harley and am facing sensor malfunctioning.. I wanted to ask if any sensor can be put there or every scooter has a specific sensor 7:55 7:59 8:01 8:02
if my electric bike also having hard time going in climbs, but perfectly working in flat road, does it also mean a damaged hall sensor is possibility?
Damaged battery for 75% , controller 10% , other issues..
@@PirateWasHere so possibly controller i supposed? since the battery was newly replaced. but what part of controller is it by any chance? is it repairable?
I was wondering if I could send you a personal case that you can help me with. My motor does the twitching but the company engineer insists it’s my controller that’s the issue. I don’t want to have to sit and wait for other spare parts if it isn’t the controller. I could send a video of the scooter and the issue.
Hey bro question how to eliminate throttle lag like I pull the throttle and it delays and also delays when I let it go
I guees, Change controllers :/
By disassembling the engine, you are able to tell what the bearing is there??
yes :)
Hi, after riding my 5600W scooter over an uphill with one motor, the rear wheel got stuck and does not rotate freely. I do not know if the wheel is defect or the controller.
I would like to ask for your help.
Thank you in advance.
i have this problem yesterday and then when i hit down throttle the rear wheel dont even spin anymore.....please help us if anyone knows the answer to this....
Witam jaki hall sensor będzie pasował do kugoo m4?
Hiya Mr P hope you are keeping safe !? i tried your method to check hall sensors with motor still on scooter and i get a reading of 4.9 on all sensors , and all go to 0 then like yours go up a bit front and back but still same problem wheel judders makes nose turns very slightly if i touch throttle but im scared to hold it as nose and i can hear vibration type sound ! any solution please ??? pretty please with cherries on top xD thank you again for awesome content ..
So it looks like one of Pirate's other sensors might be faulty as it gave a less than 4.9v reading.
Master so yours halls are ok, ofcourse check if sensors got diffrewnt reading because all 3 cant have the same reading at same time
@@PirateWasHere so i check halls again i get 4.3 black to red prong in socket ! i then put red prong in yellow i get 4.9 i turn wheel a little it goes to 0 but rises to 17.3 and as i keep turning it jumps from 4.9 to 0 to 17. ! they all do the same !!??
hi thanks i found 41F. the throttle must be paired with the controller did you get the new controller to do something or did you just plug it in and you're done? thanks dare i don't go just grind
What do you mean about throttle ? :) , grinding is not that hard just do it slow and have some plan in ur head how to do it 🍕🍻
Hi Pirate, finally I get from ali the Hall sensors and I repolace just one ( I had the 41F 816 and I get the 41F 8847 ) and the problem is that between GND and out put we get 370K ohm and with this new we get 50K) so the problem remains... can you give me a tip? if I change all the three we the same value we fix the problem? I don´t know where I can get the originals... thanks do you have any way to talk with you? Telegram whatever...
I would check voltage on the otput , not the resistance.
problem solved, I replace all the 3 sensors and the motor is working just fine, thanks a lot PIRATE!!!@@PirateWasHere
Did you fix the issue?
i think i may have this... my scooter rear wheel no longer spins after 2620 miles...how do i fix a blown speed controller???@@LuisTeixeira
Great job

Hall is connected , Phase wires connected, large plug is connected, Yet i have no power to front motor what am i missing? Please help thanks!😀 There is no power switch wire for the A controller im atta loss!
is front motor twitching when you adding throttle ?
@@PirateWasHere No not twitching. I messaged FLJ about the yun li controller they sent me a picture diagram which after cloning the picture wire by wire I still could get no front motor action. Pirate could you compare Boyu with T85 in details (suspension, acceleration, punch, stability, durability, max speed, hill climbing)? There is a total disinformation on the net. In your videos you say Boyueda is more punchy at low speeds but at the same time it looks like T85 accelerates far better in range of 40-80 kph.

@@PirateWasHere someone said there was a plastic connector that melted inside the battery tray. Do you think this is what caused the hall sensor to break?

Id appreciate your thoughts.
hard to say what coudl be wrong, service is needed. FInd someone who can find the issue, it's to risky for newbies to mess with high power battery
@PirateWasHere thank you for all the replies amd information! Appreciate it!

Bro u have no ide what u saying, any mistake is critical when u re messing with electric circuit
@@PirateWasHere yea really? Mistake with 0,1v and 0,1 a is the same like with 15kv and 100a ? lol
