I have a question about the hall sensor. I took out a broken one on my Mantis 10 with a 1000w 48v motor and it says 61a on it. can I still install the 41f there?😄
Bro, do you use yunli controller on this video ? If I put yunli on mine I maintain the power and wheel spin when I go full throttle or I go slower at 100% throttle ? Thks
Well done Pirate! Told ya it would be a fairly easy fix! Protip for the future, when rep[lacing halls, keep the legs on it as long as possible, if you need to, solder three wires to it to extend it to the main board. but use heatshrink instead to cover the cables, then coat everything with your amazing pvb glue and dont forget to coat the underside of them too. PVB is absolutely great for coating pcb's and components to make them water resistant, you should however rely on heatshrink as a primary water protection and pvb as a backup ;) Super glad tyo see you got this sorted quickly for yourself, I know you love that scooter to bits bro! Peace🍍
@@pirelli77 It is entirely possible that it would be deflecting more of the heat away, having the legs exposed would allow a great deal of heat to get shot straight through them into the chip. honestly, with the location of the hall sensor, the idea is to make sure the motor isnt getting too hot and dialing back the power according to temperature. BMSBattery KT36/48v Controllers offer these capabilities via a thermistor in the hall sensor plug, so do the nicer Kelly /Sabvoton / Phase|Base|Runner type controllers too. The reason they fry usually is because the motor gets too hot, I know for a fact those rotors would be running close to their upper thermal limits with that amount of power going through them. TL;DR Cool the stator and dont dump so much power. it'll stop the halls from being overheated. From my readings, the motors used in scooters really cant handle all that much, theyre actually quite small and brutally honestly shithouse at dissipating heat compared to ebike hubs. find a way to watercool the thing I guess.
Urethan 71 seems to be a very similar product to what pirate used, either would be about the same with very minor differences. That one would come down to personal choice at best :)
..so when is the shop open again as i need to buy the coolers for ES18 !!? even though i still cant work out how to make it run again ): oh will the YunLi 60V 45A work with the LAOTIE ES18 ???

Hey pirate, I’ve got a xiaomi m365 that I have replaced with a m365 pro digital display and motor. Do I have to upgrade the motherboard also before I upgrade to the m365 pro battery? There’s a utube video claiming that the purple motherboards are counterfeit and junk. Is this true? And if so are the purple digital displays junk too. Thanks for your time pirate. Mitch
All the parts between M365 & M365 Pro are identical apart from the motor wheel, dash and battery. So no you do not need to change the motherboard/control board.
ruclips.net/video/fOhVvbhMTs8/видео.html can you see this video? I don't understand what he says but for that work i want to ask you... If it's right to do it...🤔 The spray writes PLASTIC-71
thisis ome extra coating, but I would not do it cuz it can increase temperature , which can shorten life span of the motor. From the other hand, if water will get inside then thanks to extra coating , there wil be no damaged , so choice is yours ;)
...oh and i have tested my Hall sensors and Mosfets and see no issues but still motor not run only makes nose and slight rummble !!?? iget a reading of 4.9 on all hall sensors front and rear and back to 0 with some residual jump up to 15 to 17 is this correct ???
@@michalkolodziej hiya thx ! i thought maybe the motor cable has a break in it where it comes out of motor but wouldnt that show up on a hall sensor test to the motor or something ?

Hey pirate. Did you test battery packs from AliExpress which claim 20 000 mAh for m365/M365 Pro? You can buy batteries there for 50-80 EUR, which have 50 or 60 km range or even 80 km, at similar size fo the original m365 Pro battery. Is this real or they use fake batteries ? You could make a video about this. A custom battery for m365 pro owners, with range 50 (20 000mAh) -80 km (30 000 mAh???)
Keep em coming dope vids. How did yu disconnect the electric braking system.. They keep me sane waiting for my x4 from okidas.com rebrand of boyeudah. 32ah 60volt 5600 watt gonna be dumb fast
'Pirate' help me pls..(or another specialist) ... Motor problem began with the ‘hall’-noise etc. -Battery 90 %. 40V -Cables are okay. -No error on display or beeps. Only 0, so even not the speed.. -The 3 spots on the hall-board at the motor (yellow, green, blue) and the 3 right pins of the halls constantly give 5 V. NO zero (no matter where or how the magnet is) -Renewed all the halls SS41F, nothing. -Renewed them by a preformatted board (middle one has different polarity) but nothing changes, -Renewed the main board but keeps the same. -Renewed the dashboard, no difference…, -again new halls, reversed the middle one and twisted its pins ‘cause of the polarity, but again nothing changed. -The throttle worked fine. I checked the halls etc on all the ways I could find on YT. What can I check (and fix) still more? Thx for ideas and help!HELP me
Did you try other motor ? Maybe there is some short circuit on motor wiring cuz m365 motor halls should smoothly variable the output voltage from 1to4v when u rotate motor
i do like your videos very informative, but i also notice you love using the name of the Lord Jesus Christ in an unprofitable way, why not use Buddha or some other pagan gods name.
It's incredible how you can just figure out, repair and modify on your own so easily.
Impressive.
Your videos are always funny! I enjoy! Also interesting part with reparation!
Have the same problem. After 32 kilometers. Waiting respond from the seller and then im going to fix it. Great job mate!
What glue do you use to to glue the PCB to the windings? The white stuff glue? Thanks
any idea on why my back motor of my laotie ti30 makes a loud rumble and rattle noise when i first take off. only occurs when scooter is on the ground.

nice to see you using timestamps too btw!
does your tip have anything to do with the possible overheating of the hall sensor?
to isolate motors, stator, hall board ..... "URETHAN 71" should be very recommendable, you have to look at RUclips there are videos.
