- Here's the song More from Night 1 of the Devin Townsend shows at The Royal Albert Hall, London on April 16th 2022. Unfortunately my drum cam Go Pro overheated so the second half of the tune is stage view only. Still a pretty cool shot of the band though. This is such a cool tune to play. I will be posting more live videos from the upcoming Dream Theatre tour we are playing on so subscribe if you wanna see more.

Loving watching your interpretations of the Devin material and trying to dissect your setup - I didn't know about those Roland mic/trigger dual output things until I saw this and I still haven't figured out what the thing (playback device?) on top of the mixer is!
The triggers are on the kick and snare. They are to blend a bit of kick and snare samples in. The sound is about 90 percent natural and 10 percent sample. The playback device is a cymatic lp16. It has 16 individual outs to send backing tracks to front of house. It’s basically fx. Sub drops, keys and on this song some gang vocals.
