Haha! Dropped a stick, shrugged, carried on like a boss! Awesome stuff Darby. 👍🏼
As a fellow drummer, playing at the RAH must be quite the experience. Congrats, man! Hope you are hired for the new albums too.
Thanks man. I actually recorded drums for the new album last September. I believe it’s out in October this year. Stay well.
Stick drop recovery 💯!!!
Devin is an immortal teen-aged genius.
studied with Darby years ago , hes incredible ,can do anything , really nice guy too
I’d love to play that kit! Killed it!
Killed it man.

Unless Devin used the exact same lines on both nights, then this was from night 2. I was there and even have a recording of the whole gig to prove it 😁
Correct, it was night 2; Bad Devil was only played on night 2.
Stick dropped but the groove rolled on
Darby quick question on the porter and davies if you have a sec.
Do you find it overwhelming when doing constant doublebass? I play smaller bars and clubs and most of the time with no subs and have been looking into one. Thoughts?
The Porter and Davies is life changing!! It’s only overwhelming if you turn it up too far. It’s pretty easy to find a great balance. Sometimes I turn it up and down during a gig depending on the type of song. It’s allowed me to play fast patterns that I couldn’t play without it. The only bad thing is that when you have to do a gig with out it life sucks! I paid for mine and it’s the best investment I’ve made for my drumming. I can’t recommend it enough man. Let me know how you get on.
@@DarbyTodd Thanks for taking the time Darby. I emailed them about making a custom seat with the tailbone cut out too. Now just to convince the wife :) Thanks again!
@@Darkman24 just don’t tell the wife! I just ordered a second one so on days off from tour I still have one in my studio! Tell the guys I said to give you an amazing deal!
@@DarbyTodd I would only we share the same bank info....NOOOOO! I'll make sure to let Dil know :)
Hmmm, quite how you can mix your diary up and book to drum with Frost* when you are already booked with Devin I don't know. I arranged for friends to come from Edinburgh, Dublin and Stockholm only to get the concert cancelled on me. Tsk, tsk...
I didn’t mix my diary up. I was offered 5 shows with Frost. 3 weeks later I was offered 60 shows across Europe with Devin. I gave Frost 3 months notice that I was unable to do the tour. They fully understood. After 2 years of not touring due to a pandemic it’s kinda hard to not do the bigger longer tour. Come to a Devin show. You might like it.
Where is Ryan van Poederooien?
He changed his whole band a few years ago. I loved RVP's style too. Absolute machine.
Ive never liked "joke music". This shit is silly. Not into it. Is he trying to be a comedian?
hes just enjoying himself lmao
Yea this dude should tour with Steel Panther.
