Deep Purple is a great classic hard rock band, so is early Rainbow. One of the British bands that were the precursor to Metal and what it evolved into. Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Uriah Heep, The Who and many other British Hard Rock Bands of the 70s were the nucleus of heavy metal. Many American 70s classic rock bands contributed to Metal as well. Boston, Kansas, Lynyrd Skynyrd and early 70s Aerosmith are just a few out of many more I can think of.
What I really like about Milo is the fact that he sticks to every note the way Burton sang them. No bullshit embellishments, experiments, variations or anything, he sings just like the original!

Things to be considered after watching this concert: 1- Milo is the perfect guy for FF nowadays! 2- FF should be forbiden to perform without Tony Campos. The guy is solid as rock and loves to be in the band. 3- the ending with Zero Signal was nothing but epic😢
To speak on point 2, Campos has been holding down the low end now in a live capacity since the Genexus album. The rare times he isn't is when he's touring with Static-X, as you noted. Campos is a bassist by demand, and a hell of a great one.
@@fromdepthswerise3024 yeah! I know Static X is his band and priority. However, every time I see him performing with FF it seems to me that always was his spot.

Thank you so much and God bless you a million times to whoever is at ARTE Concerts for all of the various concert video posted on here. I truly believe that concert video is so much more important than what people think. Every concert ever is like a historical document for so many reasons.
FF was a band I loved going back to the 1990s, and I’ll always appreciate BCB for being such a big part of it. That said….Milo is delivering and then some. They sound amazing, and it’s really impressive.
New singer sounds great. I grew up listening to these guys. I never really realized how crazy some of Raymond Herrera's drum arrangements were until I saw this guy playing them. Looks like one Hell of a workout. Raymond always made it look easy, like he was strolling through a park. This guy was giving it everything he had and looked exhausted by the end of the set.
Thats because this guy is enhancing Herrera's drums, Ray never played like this & used a lot of studio help. He was good with his feet but no so much with his hands & thats putting it very lightly
Man... I wasn't expecting such clean, angelic choruses and the crowd reminds me of those savage 90s days, especially the Dynamo show. Serious FF fan here and obviously a BCB fan, but Milo does fill a huge set of shoes seamlessly. A bit more live experience and Burton will be just a good memory of the past.
What a metal concert, seen them this year at Download but it was at the Dogtooth stage, which is smaller than the other stages. Here in the main stage at Hellfest they can really show their power, Fear Factory is back!! Great addition, Milo is amazing metal singer! 🤘💥
I was very pleasantly surprised at how good they sounded. Dino definitely has the best lineup now since the classic era. Milo sounds so good on both harsh and clean vocals. Tony Campos is a great bass player. Also, I had no idea that was Pete Webber on drums until they said he name. I thought he looked familiar but then I was like nah, because he is in Havok. Apparently he is holding down 2 full time gigs now. People commented on how his kick drums sound sloppy but I don't think that's his fault. They insist on using triggers to make the kick drums stand out and they can sometimes be off, especially if you play really fast. I have no doubt about Pete's skills, being a big Havok fan. Also being a longtime FF fan, it is great to hear them sound clos to how they used to. Burton era snobs need to recognize, they were sounding terrible towards the end. They sound really tight again now!
I've been a fear factory fan for over 20 years and this is the best they've ever sounded live. I love BCB, but Millo is what this band needed. Hearing the clean parts of these songs sung so well was so fuckin refreshing!!!
Same here, saw them last month and really I felt like I was trapped into a time machine bringing me back to the mid 90s! Milo even looks like young Burton C Bell !
I honestly wouldn’t even have known the singer was different without reading the comments since I don’t follow the band closely. Sounds like they have a great frontman again.
Been with Fear Factory since the very start so many fucking years ago. More FF pits then i can caount many joints with Dino HAHA This FEAR FACTORY KICKASS i am 55 and i feel REBORN again THANK YOU FF.
@@Zangodoo Why are you so negative? I say it most likely happened because I’ve had similar experiences. You just get out there. It’s not like bands are some unapproachable superstar entity. Also just being in the music scene helps. You meet people, make connections, friends. I could show you proof of this but you’d still say it never happened. Hope you find a better attitude and good luck to ya. Go meet some musicians. PS. It’s not hard.
I had some concerns as to whether FF would be able to work after Bell, but after this concert my question has been more than answered. This new singer convinced me 100%. he is amazing.
He hits the clean melodies really really well. I held my breath waiting for the first singing part and he totally killed it. Growls are on point too. Very nice.
sounds a lot like Burton as well. Which is good, too many vocalists join a band after a legendary vocalist leaves and try to make it work with their own vocal style, which obviously doesn't work since the band likely wouldn't have make it without iconic vocals
The ''new'' singer is so good, That's the job of a new singer replacing someone with a unique vocal, He has to sound like him. It's crucial and he does a great job. Props to the drummer too, this shit must be really tough to play
It's not tough to play by any means from an ability standpoint, the issue is Burton/Raymond both had a very distinguished sound, being able to capture that sound without sounding like a cover band is almost impossible. Right now Milo & Webber are checking all the boxes while having their own little flare. Dino pulled one out of his ass for sure with these 2. Truly impressive that FF right now, is FF with only one original member.
I wish when bands get new singers, they would release a greatest hits album with the new singer. Would love to hear him sing the old songs in a studio setting.
Look back 25 years on youtube live im park 1999 Burton and Herrera same age what now milo has no compare this agression in this 3 songs no doubt there is only one the Original and the best of all time compare this with Hellfest2024 and you will see i m right
Milo is also in 2 other bands: Dead Channel and skill gear. In dead channel he sings clean vocals that are sometimes just amazing (full of true emotions). A song I really love is...The Flight. Faut écouter, ça envoie du lourd!!!
Best they have sounded in years and I'm a huge fan, members come and go.. it happens in alot of bands.. glad they have found some rejuvenation with this line up..
I wouldn't say great lol. He's good enough to perform the songs somewhat ok and his cleans are def better than Burtons live cleans. Even with autotune Burton struggled in his later years.
@SFGPCs Burt struggled to sound very good live in when I saw them touring on Digimortal, but the two shows I saw them play in the late 90s were amazing, they were absolutely on fire after Obsolete came out. I saw them with Milo right after he joined and I have to say that he's really upped his game in the more recent videos I've seen.
I saw Fear Factory at Download Festival recently, and they were absolutely brilliant. The new line-up rules and Milos vocals are exactly what this band needs. 🤘
Milo is absolutely fantastic, I love his clear passion and love for the music that comes through in his performances. He also has an absolutely fantastic voice that suites this band perfectly, is he Burton? No, he is Milo, he is the new breed and I’m all here for it man. \m/

11:11 the way he does these subtle changes in songs, his delivery adds this kind of catchy newness that I am keen to hear transition into new original material. 23:27 here's another, I love it. 46:27 and this moment here. 1- Milo is the perfect guy for FF nowadays!
@@vitorcaricati4374 I feel you. He just fits so naturally.
Nothing to add😝
FF is a real deal now
Fatality.
Favorite Metal band of all time. I miss the classic line up dearly but I'm ready to move on ! Long live Fear Factory !
wish they would have plated stuff off the last album.yeah got into fear factory in 99 still like em.shooooooooock!!!😂
For me too but i already moved on many years ago. They way, the band ended up in "Aggression Continuum" brought me out of their new stuff. But still loving the old things! Too bad, they still arent playing stuff from Archetype live
Absolutely AMAZING!!! Fear Factory has new life and sounds killer. Bring on the new album!
Who's writing the lyrics? This is what made FF
Thank you so much and God bless you a million times to whoever is at ARTE Concerts for all of the various concert video posted on here. I truly believe that concert video is so much more important than what people think. Every concert ever is like a historical document for so many reasons.
Zero Signal is my favorite FF song. This version is just crushing good!!!!!!!!
I came with low expectations and this was exceptional. Very strong lineup. Kudos to Dino et al
FF was a band I loved going back to the 1990s, and I’ll always appreciate BCB for being such a big part of it. That said….Milo is delivering and then some. They sound amazing, and it’s really impressive.
Yeah I'm impressed with this live performance. Just played many times already 😂
@@patientmental875agreed. This dude is an animal player.
Milo absolutely nailed those songs including Zero Signal which is my favourite FF track
The machine has been rejuvenated.
"hardware update successful"
Not yet, the machine is just replication itself. The lyrics will be the true test, and that was all Burton.
Ai will be doing the new lyrics the machine lives on.
What a metal concert, seen them this year at Download but it was at the Dogtooth stage, which is smaller than the other stages. Here in the main stage at Hellfest they can really show their power, Fear Factory is back!! Great addition, Milo is amazing metal singer! 🤘💥
I was also crammed into that tent and it was fucking sick!
Played brighton a few days befor this - Took my nipper to see them - Blew us away
😎
As a drummer (drumming for 28 years now) that plays with triggers and now plays an e-kit, that kick wasnt sloppy at all
From 1998 (Obsolete) to 2024...goddamn. Fucking awesome. Kudos, Dino for keeping the dream alive and finding all these new amazing musicians!
Man how nice to see FF still going.
This vocalist is killing it

🤘🎉🤘
Yeah, IMO he does better than Burton did in live shows.
NOOOOOOOO
I've been a fear factory fan for over 20 years and this is the best they've ever sounded live. I love BCB, but Millo is what this band needed. Hearing the clean parts of these songs sung so well was so fuckin refreshing!!!
At clean parts he clearly uses autotune and compressor. That’s why those parts sound such perfect.
Same here, saw them last month and really I felt like I was trapped into a time machine bringing me back to the mid 90s! Milo even looks like young Burton C Bell !
Except for Raymond HERRERA.. 😭 Double bass accuracy completely lost..
Raymond was a beast with his feet. Bring back Raymond HERRERA..! 🙏
@@Peetshow82 But this autotune is very subtle compared to what is used in regueton.

This new singer is the real deal, that was magic
But the drummer is fucking things up when it counts. That first song? He did shit with the double pedal. Thats actualy not that hard.

@@Zangodooit more than likely did. You gotta see more shows. Especially at small local venues. Meet and greets are a thing ya know.
@@Syphon_Drummer why are you defending a person in RUclips comments?
@@Zangodoo Why are you so negative? I say it most likely happened because I’ve had similar experiences. You just get out there. It’s not like bands are some unapproachable superstar entity. Also just being in the music scene helps. You meet people, make connections, friends. I could show you proof of this but you’d still say it never happened. Hope you find a better attitude and good luck to ya. Go meet some musicians.
PS. It’s not hard.
@@Syphon_Drummer that story made me hard
I had some concerns as to whether FF would be able to work after Bell, but after this concert my question has been more than answered. This new singer convinced me 100%. he is amazing.
He hits the clean melodies really really well. I held my breath waiting for the first singing part and he totally killed it. Growls are on point too. Very nice.
Exactly my thoughts! Now a believer!
sounds a lot like Burton as well.
BTW the drummer is from the band Havok
@@blacksoul1 Yeah i know, he's good ! I'm listening to Mechanize right now, Killer album with the legendary Gene Hoglan

They have literally reached their full potential with the new guy. Sorry Burton but this dude is so much better live.
Yes
It's a different level
I wish when bands get new singers, they would release a greatest hits album with the new singer. Would love to hear him sing the old songs in a studio setting.
They were blessed to find Milo. Drummer is pretty solid too. FF is back.
Bass drum 32nd groove sounded a little sloppy in the beginning. Then he tightened up.
Look back 25 years on youtube live im park 1999 Burton and Herrera same age what now milo has no compare this agression in this 3 songs no doubt there is only one the Original and the best of all time compare this with Hellfest2024 and you will see i m right
Pete Webber is a monster on drums but i do prefer is main band, HAVOK.

Came here for Replica, stayed for the whole thing.
The new vocalist is GREAT
I wouldn't say great lol.
He reproduces Burton's vocals perfectly!
Sounds like Max Cavalera with syndrome.
I saw Fear Factory at Download Festival recently, and they were absolutely brilliant. The new line-up rules and Milos vocals are exactly what this band needs. 🤘
Damn, Milo kills it on the clean vocals and the harsh stuff. Great choice. Can't wait to hear him on new songs.
Milo is absolutely fantastic, I love his clear passion and love for the music that comes through in his performances. He also has an absolutely fantastic voice that suites this band perfectly, is he Burton? No, he is Milo, he is the new breed and I’m all here for it man. \m/
Blown away by how good this singer is. Wow.
Props to the drummer, playing the Obsolete and digimortal songs live is no easy task 🤘🏼

It was on Zero Signal since that song was on the Mortal Kombat soundtrack. I remember they worked the sample in when I saw them at Ozzfest in 97.
