Restoring a 1950's Compact and create NEW Illuminating Makeup from SCRATCH

Restoring a vintage Stratton compact to give it new life as a Illuminator compact. The compact is from the 1950's and is solid brass. This model is very small but includes a brilliant little mechanism to open the inside lid via the tiny button that is pressed by the mirror as the compact folds out. This project was my favorite restoration so far, I can't wait to do more.
I create makeup for my personal use with cosmetic grade pigments to create the blush shimmer. If you decide to do the same, please do a 48 hour skin test with each separate ingredient in a different spot, *Especially your choice of pigment, BEFORE USE!
