Some missed ideologies: Doctocracy - Similar to Military Dictatorships and Oligarchies, where the doctor class exploits its power and public support to gain power over the server. (These are the types of people who'll attack you, then spam heal you, and repeat.) Anarchy - Everything is legal, the leader holds no power, and the barbarians are probably killing everyone. (This is the standard ideology for the peasants, but its also possible to see this in the village if a corrupt leader is in power.) Combatocracy - People often practice this by killing everyone in line to become leader, incredibly common. Peasant Commune - Peaceful Peasant village, sometimes adaptable to the village, less common. Direct Democracy - This is when the leader is subserviant to the people, and actually does his job, and can be removed by the public. The only problem with these leaders is that they're usually weak, and easily prone towards being couped. Popular Autocracy - Autocracy ruled by a popular person on the server who mostly everyone likes. They often exploit this to have a huge mob of backers, and can easily do whatever they want. Jestocracy - Oh god the Jester has a rocket launcher and he's killing everyone while playing the soviet anthem on earrape.
I once led a popular autocracy. In December the city when I took power was basically controlled by barbarians so I needed to go into hiding for day 1 which after that I returned and kicked the barbarians out keeping a good dictatorship. However when I had needed to for a little bit thr council took power and when I tried to regain power they killed me. My rule lasted for 6 days and after that I still had a larger support base which I used to purge the council
I created my own ideology called free market where the leader sets the tax to 0% and food price to 10 (so he doesn't go bankrupt) and sets to a very low wage! Another ideology that i created is called vasal state where barbs promise not to interfere in the city in exchange for a portion of food!
I played in a server that did the second one, the barbs betrayed leader, raided the town and killed all councils and leader, the next leader turned out to be a barb so it became a mafia state

As a guard i love military dictatorship, its even better if the leader is an ex guard who's also loyal to the guard, in most of my gameplay the military dictatorship is good since we can keep the town safe from barbarians and randomer, the ex guard leader also tends to give guards weapon store and sword store all maxed. With the only risk i see is one of the guard could just betray all of the guard and tell everyone to mass riot. Well of course we fell down because the military dictatorship tends to have traitor who either support the barbarian or just killing the leader, after that things just going badly
u can only be a leader if ur a "dictator" which isnt really a dictator because he provides u with good tools because he wants to make money too if ur a leader and u dont have a sword, wrap it up. good sword+ or u might aswell resign ( as someone with 27.000 minutes played )
when I play this game I usually become a councilor so and I can tell you guys all the steps of how an oligarchy is formed as I'm usually part of it. step 1: get four councilors step 2 : if the guards have voting power, remove ut step 3 : make doctors and guards pay taxes step 4 : wait for the leader to fuck up bad so when you kill him the populus isn't gonna get mad step 5 : secretly control all new leaders with the fear of death step 6 : try not to die
i played a server that represented fascism very good. The town got razed by the barbarians and became a complete asshole so the leader started saying in the chat "DO YOU WANT TOTAL WAR? DO YOU WANT THE MOST TOTAL AND GRUESOME WAR THAT WE CANT EVEN IMAGINE YET?" and everyone supported him. He started g#nociding barbarians btw its really fun to think of what is barbarian ideology

Oligarchy - What I believe to be the default ideology of the game due to the existence of the Council. The Council is made of 4 people and can go left or right, instituting democratic or authoritarian policies, Oligarchies in this game tend to go corrupt, with councilmen who are generally not trending one way that the rest are going being killed shortly before the Councilmen start razing the town to the ground. Democracy - these usually happen when a Council trends left-wing and makes democratic policies, allowing for civilians and other weak titles to arm themselves and demand reforms from the leader, where Democracy takes a hold. Should the Council start trending the other way, the Civilians and others start to destroy the entire town, ironically. Kleptocracy - A money hungry person enters the leadership, setting the taxes to 100% and taking all of the money people earn. These can occasionally gain some support if the person gains a personality cult, but these most of the time fall apart to rebellions or coups, with witch hunts, too. Dictatorship - A person enters the leadership, proceeding to gain the approval of the council and persuading them to pass authoritarian laws while creating a personality cult. People who notice the embryo's of a dictatorship can riot to plunge the town into a civil war against the strongman, or sometimes, they don't learn fast enough, getting to a certain point before being jailed by the guards, and sometimes, falling for the trap. Dictators usually get mocked, being called Caesar, Napoleon, or even Hitler, only being met by the cold sword of the guard or other loyalist. Sansepolcrismo - A leader who has learnt from their past mistakes and let people kill them now cements power by killing all of the council men and destroying anything to cement power, along with harsh crackdowns via using weapons against all people who oppose him or her, now having sidelined opposition, the leader still has to deal with Barbarians but can now do what they wish, commonly setting the taxes to 100% while promoting extreme oppression against everybody, this will always collapse due to "Rebel" Barbarians that will aim to remove a leader, causing Barbarians to simply overrun the town and render the server dead.
