Oh man, you picked a heck of a band to start discovering. They are the best group going today. They have 25 studio albums, they play a different genre each album practically, if you like metal they go balls to the wall on their albums Infest the Rats Nest and PetroDragonic Apocalypse. Check out the tracks "Hell" or "Dragon", you wont be disappointed.
No one knows what to expect with every new release these guys do, every album has almost been a different genre.
As a drummer, you'd love Crumbling Castle live at KEXP from them, 2 drummers head to head, psychedelic rock.
This is probably one of the best bands out right now. Whatever genre of music they feel like doing, they do it. If you like metal, try out "Dragon", or check out "Crumbling Castle" for weird time signature shenanigans. Glad you liked it!

Great band and song but this isn’t indicative of what they normally do. Usually they are mostly on guitars with 1 or 2 on keys. This album was an experiment. They do lots of experiments. An entire album was in the same key. Another album had each song in a different scale. Another is all heavy metal.
Try Crumbling Castle and The Dripping Tap
