Love the black magic gear... looking forward to more of your videos.... we are building our equipment up and just purchased an ATEM Mini Extreme ISO .... to replace our ATEM Mini ISO .... we'll use that one along with a Streaming Bridge to bring in a co-host..... love the Hyperdeck too... we have one for videos and transitions as well. Keep it up!

hello thanks for this video .. i want to buy 3 cameras and record 4k video what device allows me control the 3 cameras directly from my pc and record with audio input line inside the device
I ordered 2 of the Hyperdeck mini plus and a Blackmagic Design MultiDock 10G. - one for recording in combination with the Multidock .. the other will be a player with key and fill ..
Wow! Yeah, I’ll definitely purchase a second one later this year as well. First impression is that it’s a good machine. Can’t wait to share more

Looking forward to a report on the fan noise! I didn't buy the previous generation in part due to fan noise.

Would my computer send signal to a ultrastudio monitor and then it can go through SDI to a hyperdeck studio HD Plus for KeyandFill purposes?
Yes, that will also work for sure. I don’t own an ultrastudio (yet), hence I can’t demo this

Dear Petra, Greetings.
I am a Surgeon, I need to record Laparoscopy videos for training and medicolegal purposes.
The camera output is Full HD 1080 p. Will this Hyperdeck HD PLUS be a suitable device for me?
In future, I may upgrade to a 4K system, will this be compatible enough?
I prefer Hard disc recordings instead of SD cards.

Interesting use case indeed. “Luckily” I’m not familiar with a hospital setting, However there are a few benefits you might not know. If the surgery last longer than expected the device will move the recording without dropping a frame to the second card. The device handles both hdmi and sdi in. It’s full HD and can handle “baby” 4K to p30. I’m using the word baby here solely to indicate that the real 4K models bases on SSD of blackmagic can go to a higher framerate. I think this device is already good for you, indeed also in case of future plans, however if 4k and SSD harddrives are important you could look into Hyperdeck Studio 4K pro which sells about 1500 usd. I unfortunately don’t own one however I do know they all follow the same user experience.

Thanks for your honest reply. Sorry it was not to your liking. I have learned to now verify upfront if everything is readeable on camera. Appreciate you taking the time, and hope to provide better vidsos on the future
