In the tank autoscroller, the bob-omb explosion slows down the game in the NES version, so there's time saved by actively throwing them off-screen.

The everyman wall clip. Which I think I saw someone fail once at a GDQ, was it Smallant? maybe not, mind hazy.

You can just jump onto the last ship from the back in the NES version. In this version it's not possible.

I always thought the "wind sock" was a radar antenna.

I kinda remember that awful dual Bowser fight still being one of the best levels in RMN bros.
At least it didn't have you find red coins.

I remember the two Bowser fight. It was awful and somehow not the worst part of RMN Bros.
