Yeah because changing the sprites is totally comparable to changing all of the models. What all stars did was really easy, make new sprites and replace them, which doesn't even take that long. You can't compare the two (and really, the games hold up very well except 64)

Nah perfect run is imo my favorite level sure its very hard and it took many tries but its pretty much the only level thats very challenging and that makes it so fun

It looks like very little, if any, love and care was put into the creation of this game, which is the exact reason why I didn't buy it. If it had those 2 things I would have definitely gotten it.
I think just porting them was the right choice. Unlike Crash and Spyro, where, despite being iconic games, remastering them make sense since each game has similar looks, These Mario Games have iconic looks. And changing those iconic looks will make the game feel drastically different even if they're the same adventure. Just Porting them made sense. but that's just my opinion.
I honestly love the Touch controls for Galaxy. I feel using the right stick would feel clunky, similar to how MM2 feels in Tabletop or while on the dock.

Update: I got the game, it’s a blast to replay galaxy in better quality on the go, and playing super Mario sunshine for the first time it’s pretty fun too, I haven’t opened 64 yet. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase and it is well worth the money (for me at least)

You only have to beat the All-Stars version of Lost Levels once to unlock worlds A-D. It's honestly the biggest QOL improvement of the entire game.

I think just porting them was the right choice. Unlike Crash and Spyro, where, despite being iconic games, remastering them make sense since each game has similar looks, These Mario Games have iconic looks. And changing those iconic looks will make the game feel drastically different even if they're the same adventure. Just Porting them made sense. but that's just my opinion.

I got the game, it’s a blast to replay galaxy in better quality on the go, and playing super Mario sunshine for the first time it’s pretty fun too, I haven’t opened 64 yet. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase and it is well worth the money (for me at least)
