I can tell you take pride in your work. love your work. Great job my friend and God blesses you and family.
Much appreciated 🙏 Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻
Thanks brotha! Great review, well done.
Thanks for watching and commenting! 👍
Great video, informative, clear, thank you👌

Thanks for the vid, I've used PVA wood glue before to seal porous asbestos/timber, 1 part PVA to 3 parts water, then sprayed with single coat of paint. it stopped the paint being sucked up into the surface and gave me extra coverage.
Never thought of that before. I do worry about the water swelling the OSB, though. Even water baded paint causes a little issue. I should use oil based primer/sealer and then paint with waterbourne products. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻
Masking is such a pain - but I’m sure with a sprayer it is a necessary step! Enjoyed watching you go through all the setup and actual testing - and I love the black!
Masking is the worst part of the job. Thanks for watching and commenting! 👍
just ordered yesterday love the coverage better than sprayers with the cup that spit the stream looking forward to painting outside video helped a lot thanks 👍
I'm glad it was helpful. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻
How is it working out? Any problems?
Good deal. Thanks for the info.
Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻
Amazing! Very modern way of doing the painting.
Appreciate it! Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻
35 years ago I use to suit up like that to use the Graco airless sprayer that was so big we always kept it in the van with a long hose hahahahah

Nice review. Did you oil the sprayer? I see the instructions mention oiling the sprayer every day but no oil was included.
Very Helpful Thanks!
You are welcome, and I am glad that it was helpful. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻
Great Job!
Thank you! Cheers!
Black ceilings, cool! For someone who has never worked with a paint sprayer before, would you still recommend this product?
Thanks! Yes, I would. Thanks for watching and commenting! 👍🏻
I personally feel all the money spent on smaller units and that expensive tc pro you could have got you a good 395 brother. Pros are it’s a lot quieter and you don’t have to crank the pressure up as high as you do on the smaller units which saves material. I started with a lts 17’which is the exact same as the x5 just lowes version but now lowes sells the x5 as well when that unit burned up I got the x5 when that one burned up I got a prox17 which can actually have the pump replaced . It was a nice unit . They all were and all lasted a good amount of time and definitely paid for themselves . I still recommend them if money is tight and you need an airless . They are solid units as long as you clean them out good and store them properly . I always stored mine with paint thinner . Storing them with water will rust out the parts inside and if it gets cold will freeze inside the unit . Paint thinner will keep the inside lubricated and won’t freeze . I’m sure you know that but this info is for someone who might not brother . If you have the money for a good solid unit that will last years and years and probably the rest of your life a graco 395 would be the lowest I would start at and really what most pros use who are doing residential . You don’t need anything bigger unless you wanna run to spray guns and are doing huge commercial jobs . The only thing I change on my rig is the hose I have a hose I use to spray oil base and one I use for latex . I’m to scared to spray lacquer with all the explosion stories .another good thing about the graco 395 as opposed to the x5 and project painter and the one your showing here is the motor is enclosed . So with the smaller units it’s good to keep them in another room behind plastic as you spray or the over spray gets sucked into the unit as well and ruins it faster and with the 395 I still keep it secluded from where I’m spraying but if I can’t the motor I’m enclosed and will never get any of the other over spray that the fan sucks in over it . . How do you like your tc pro ? Thinking about buying one myself as it would have came
In handy recently when I had 1 ceiling to spray where the house had no power . And it was popcorn. I got away with rolling it quickly before the popcorn got wet enough to start pulling off
All good advice for sure. I like testing out a lot of different tools. For the money I paid for Graco TC, I am not very impressed. When it works, it's a great tool, but the cup loses seal after I get it primed and stops spraying a lot now, which is annoying. I used it mostly in trim boards and interior doors. I think I need a new cap on the cup to fix the problem. Probably $30 solves it. So, it's not bad I guess. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻
@@JustinsProject Man preach brother , preach ! I use the corded version of the tc pro , and you ain’t lying . It sprayed good for a bit and then I started having the same exact issues . One thing about them units Is you have to make sure you clean them with the screen on and strain your paint always cause once you get a piece of trash inside it or dried paint your screwed their is no way to open the head or nose to remove it . Seen that issue on another paint forum . But as for the top seal that’s the same issue mine started having . When I turn it upside down water justbfalls out when washing . Also that little plastic prime cap . Once it breaks for some reason it causes it to lose suction. I never would have thought that would be an important seal but after reading up deeper on them it’s very important that cap does not break . And any little dries paint around the lid that holds the cup and the part that connects to the gun must be super clean too . They are sensative units for sure ….. also read putting vasaline around the lid where the cup goes helps with the seal as well . But yea I’m talking any small small leak will cause the gun to spray very bad .
Justin, I want to spray paint using chassis black paint on the underneath of a new Ford Maverick pickup arriving Sep '23 and then apply CRC Corrosion Inhibitor. I only have a 2.5 gal small air compressor which might not work using an air spray gun. From RUclips videos I've seen, there seems to be a lot of overspray in the air using air to spray with and I don't want to have to mask the entire truck's exterior to prevent overspray. I thinking about going airless, I like the Vevor X6 price on Amazon for $167, that you can spray directly from a gal paint can without any dilution due to extra HP motor, and it comes with a 1' extension for tight places. Justin, would you recommend the Vevor X6 to spray paint the underbody of a vehicle?
A couple of things to consider. If you were spraying combustible material, I would not recommend it. I would recommend upgrading the air compressor and getting a decent LVLP. I did get some over spray during my spray, nothing crazy but with a new vehicle, I am not sure I'd risk it without masking everything off. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻
Really dig the color choice can't wait to see the place completely done also really liked how you really put the product through it's paces and how you were honest with your showing all the little other things about it like the water thing an then going back an letting the viewer know that you didn't go back an tighten it in would probably had tried to an stripped it out thank you for the content an extra tips an info most others leave out
Much appreciated 🙏 Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻
I need one;)
Grab one while they are still available 😁 Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻
Can I use other brands of tips with this sprayer?
I have used my Graco spray tips with this sprayer. Worked great for me.
Hi, nice video, I'm a painter too. Greetings from Ukraine! Good luck in your work.
👋🏻 From across the pond! Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻
How much did you thin the paint? I had to thin it so much to get it work, and then I have paint all over.
I did not thin the paint at all. I sprayed directly out of the Behr paint bucket. I should have run the paint through a strainer but luckily it was not an issue on this project. I did have to do that when I painted the walls. Even though it was new paint freshly mixed, it had so many clumps in the bucket that it would not spray. I bought a 5-gallon paint strainer for $1 and it completely resolved the problem. I will never spray paint again without straining the paint first.
Would you recommend this to paint a mobile home
Yes, it did a great job for me.
Curious how hot it got over the times you would paint continuously. I dont know about you but some jobs i may need it running 5 gallon until i would stop painting and others it wont run long before i have to move to another room so it gets little breaks. lol. I just bought one but i wont run any paint through it until next week.
Your video is the only one on the internet that actually shows a large enough work area to really see what it does and long you would think it would last. Great job sir. @@JustinsProject
Hey Justin, i need to spray walls but could this be used for doors, furniture etc as well on a smaller scale?
Definitely could be used on doors, cabinets, and furniture. All you would need to do is change the spray tips out and set the spray pressure. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Did you add any water to your paint?
No, I did not add water. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻
Would this work with deck and porch paint
Yes, just use minerals spirits to clean it afterward. If the paint is not water based. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻
@@JustinsProject ty I never used one before it's my first time
Np, it is pretty easy to operate. The instructions provided are pretty clear to follow as well.
I probably should have painted the whole area with a brush in the time you spend masking everything 😬
😂
The sprayer definitely not the problem
It is the operator 🤣 Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻

I was not, I should have been
@@JustinsProject I agree with you on the Vevor, although a plastic washer for the upper part of the handle split after only 3 hours of use. And customer support is responsive but incompetent. They didn't know what the part was or where it went and did not send me the link I requested to a blowup parts diagram. The part is not shown in the instructions. They said they'd send me a washer, but I am not holding my breath. I told them bro send me ten of them!
Why in Gods name did you mask everything??? LoL wow. Good job!
😂 one word answer. Overspray.
Air hose ??? 😏lol
Your right, I should have properly addressed that as "1/4 inch NPSM, high pressure flexible fiber synthetic, rubber, nylon airless paint hose" That would been so much easier to say 😂
Don't spend your money on this sprayer it's no good. I got one, and it stopped working, and customer service asked for a video clip of the item not working, but they don't accept videos with the system they have and offered very little as a refund and they said to keep it throw it away.... buyer beware don't buy it spend the money for a good brand
Stop lying on because you're didn't work means others won't
Worked great for me. I hope you get it all sorted out. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻
I found this sprayer to be the least user friendly item I've bought in a long time. Directions sucked. Thing would prime easy enough but would never just suck up the paint and start spraying. Every 5th time of going through the steps, you'd here turbine kick up and finally start to spray. I hated this thing, it just wouldn't work. What a PIA
bad coverage on the ceiling isnt the sprayers fault, it's your unprofessionalism. Doesnt look like you know what you are doing, just saying
Appreciate the feedback
Spray celling is not same doing wall 😂
this guys comment 😡😡😡seem don't know the physique, " it call Gravity" you can't have same result.
Great Job and video❤❤❤❤
