  • Cocaine Shane's Road to Redemption
Hitting rock bottom can be a brutal wake-up call. In this episode, Elliott Wald sits down with Shane Samler, who opens up about his harrowing battle with cocaine addiction and the long, arduous road to recovery.
Shane's story begins at a young age, detailing his descent into addiction that steadily intensified. He candidly discusses the devastating impact cocaine had on his life, not only stealing his health and relationships but also leading to the collapse of his nasal septum, a physical consequence he blatantly ignored while the drug's grip tightened.
Despite this stark warning sign, Shane continued his downward spiral, losing his once-thriving business and isolating himself from loved ones. Finally, hitting rock bottom forced him to confront the harsh reality of his addiction.
This episode delves into Shane's courageous decision to seek help, his experience in rehab, and the ongoing challenges he faces in staying clean. He emphasizes the crucial role of support groups and shares his message of hope and encouragement: don't wait until you reach rock bottom; seek help before addiction steals everything from you.
This powerful episode is a testament to the human spirit's resilience and the possibility of overcoming even the most challenging struggles.

I can really relate with so many of your stories, chances lost, jobs lost, years of not being a proper Dad ,and husband, is the most hurtful one,
The regret on the way down is horrible, the guilt was unbearable, promising to myself that was the last time, and then breaking your promise , prove me how weak I am.
It's so hard people to understand you.
    Such a good Podcast 👍
Thank you so much, it does matter why you guys do.
