- In this episode we take a look at Sirui Sniper Lenses, more exactly the 23 mm F1.2, 33 mm F1.2 and 56 mm f1.2
These lenses are for APS-C or Super 35 sensors but if you know me I'm going to try them on Full Frame as well.

Lenses are extremely budget friendly. These lenses have 1.2F and auto-focus with this price. However, it should also be taken into consideration that the lenses cause visible chromatic abberation and focus breathing is a bit annoying. Thanks for the detailed explanation video. There are lots of footages to see the performance of the lenses. Good job!
I can't wait to try this on a Z7. Over all, I really liked your review. Nothings perfect, but when your looking for a particular look on a low budget, these are it for now.

Loved this review, everyone saying sigmas are better, maybe they are, but i mean the look you got here seems like a movie, i don't recall watching sigma footage like this, i could be wrong, but this got me wanting these siruis badly...

Sure, here are my settings: 4k at 60 fps with Aperture at F1.2 and Shutterspeed at roughly 1/5000 with ISO 800.
The aberration was appearrant indoors in a way that kind of bothered me. The outside work on both cameras has damn near sold me. I am new to the fx30 and back on the sony system overall so I have a lot of gaps to fill in for my own research but this was an excellent example of the power of this combo@@AlexDon
I'm using an A7S3 camera, but why is there a vignetting effect on the screen?
The a7s3 is full frame, these are made for a cropped sensor. Did you watch the part where he uses these with his fx3? Same sensor as a7s3
People complaining these are “soft” for stills, i love them for cinematography.

Looking to purchase my first cinema lens/kit, it's between these and the nightwalkers, I prefer the look of the NW but for the same price we add autofocus? It's a no brainier.

I would say get the 33mm sniper to compliment the nightwalkers because it’s more versatile and you could use the autofocus while shooting something when pulling focus is difficult.
yo I almost prefer the look of them on FF! slight vignette and curvature at the edges gives sexy character! Cinema character with Autofocus and works both on ff if ya add active steady shot and with crop sensor! the dream! Appreciate that you show how they look on FF!
Maybe the quality of light was different but they didn't really sing on the full frame, still very nice though. The footage on the fx30 was absolutely stunning, it really took away the overly crisp look it has, which ive noticed on mine... Sold!!!!!
but the fx30 is sharper than the fx3
. I have the 23mm and it really helps to take the edge off the fx30
@@mcewan-media i always set the sharpness to -7 in all my cameras, it helps a lot, and i dont need to put a promist or a glimmerglass every time, how about the autofocus? Here in this video seems quite bad 🥺

Having black or, grey or dark lenses have a meaning! When you go to a shooting you want to reflect as less as possible on a shot! that's the reason many photographers also use dark clothes.
That's like a biker shaving their arms to cut their times by like a fraction of a fraction of a second. The difference is miniscule unless the competition is insanely close. If you are that pro, that a nearly insignificant amount of light reflecting on the shot would ruin it, you're not buying these lenses in the first place.

These lens are NOT worth the money. They really dropped the ball with them. You can really tell who got paid to promote them.

I got the chance to test them from a friend and I can tell that for amount of money… you can’t get any better. Ok, the’re not Sony GM lenses but c’mon, they cost as much as the lens caps and the pouch from a GM lens 🤪
A lot of reviewers here in yt say it's good for its price and I'm considering buying one.
