picked this up yesterday for $161 for my first build (Lian Li A3 case). i'm returning the Asus PRIME B650M-A AX II i originally ordered. it didn't have any heatsinks and also had an ugly chrome I/O port cover that didn't go with the mostly black motherboard. this one makes more sense for close to the same price.
Idont like it because the position of pcie x16 in that board too lower than usual matx.. you said the compact for what? It doesnt fit in any case which enable 4 slot pcie.. only fit tiny graphic card.. not for powerful graphic card

Can confirm this mobo works perfectly with the 7600x - that’s what I use currently for my streaming PC! 650W should be plenty If you use PC Part Picker, you can see the estimated wattage for your build. I’m seeing 386W w/ a 7600x, MSI MAG B650M, 32 GB RAM, 1 TB NVME, and a 4060 Ti
Everybody who's reviewied this MoBo don't say about the CRICIAL THING: the ssd heatsink EATS UP ONE PCI EXPANSION SLOT! That's so important, yet no one mentions that 😡
a bit confused on this. can anyone help ? i have this motherboard and i also got a amd ryzen 5 8600g. pcpartpicker and motherboard manufacturer states bios needs to be updated for it to support the 8000 series. how do i update the bios ? do i put cpu in then go go ahead and try to update bios or update bios first then put in new cpu ?

I have this one. I chose it because its ports basically. No old 2.0 usb slots.
I feel like those wifi antenna is gonna get in yhe way of the 6 USB ports above
Thankfully they’re articulating. You can move the antennas out of the way if need be
I have the ATX version (Tomahawk) and as long as you don’t mind having your antennas pointed out to the side in most use cases they shouldn’t obstruct

I was going to suggest pc part picker for checking the wattage too. It’s a great resource for checking compatibility of parts.
