Hi! Tweak the fan curve to reduce noise and enable XMP to get the right settings for the RAM. Apart from that the defaults should be set to what you’ll need - but see my video about slow DDR5 booting if that becomes an issue once XMP is enabled.
Every PC I’ve ever owned has booted to the desktop in under a minute, but modern PC’s with SSD’s in them can do it in less than 20 seconds. It’s the hanging at the RAM training thats really noticeable as a delay and alarming though. Especially as it can be fixed… 🙂
What CPU cooler should I use for this? I want to make sure there is clearance for the RAM, this is for my Ryzen 7 7700X. Also what are the measurements of this motherboard.
You can find the measurements on the MSI web site. For the cooler… it depends on the height of you RAM, but if you’re using an AiO then it doesn’t generally matter. For air coolers you’ll need to compare measurements. Generally, most will be OK for standard height sticks (usually the sticks without LEDs on them), or for configurations using two sticks. But take a look at this if you’re looking for a recommendation. Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO *REAL* Unboxing and Review ruclips.net/video/j-7R6J5EI-U/видео.html Hope that helps.
I just build my pc with same mobo using ryzen 7 7700 but it won't booting at all. Red and orange led is solid on with no display, can you give me tips what is wrong? How long do i need to wait the first boot?
Update the BIOS. The CPU light should go off... then the RAM led after training... then there's VGA and then, finally, the boot LED. See here for an explination: ruclips.net/video/CaXgRaHBVBA/видео.html For your board... its got the same LED's at the top right edge. Check page 42 of this... download-2.msi.com/archive/mnu_exe/mb/PROB650M-P.pdf So if the CPU is staying on then it's a CPU issue. This might just need a BIOS update - so I checked the CPU support list. www.msi.com/Motherboard/PRO-B650M-P/support#cpu This suggests you need this BIOS file - 7E27v10.zip So update the BIOS and then see what happens. Page 49 of the manual has instructions for that. I woiuld use the BIOS Update button - so you should remove the RAM , CPU and GPU. This is on page 50 of the manual. Hope this helps. 😊
Depends how wide your GPU is, but for the PC is assembled using this board the answer is no. It’s got a 4070 Super in it and no other PCIE cards can be fitted in. The board is MATX so this isn’t unusual.
The M.2 is above the main PCIE GPU slot so theres no PCI slot there - wehich would make life easier. So fitting a Wi-Fi card will only be possible of your GPU is two slot widths or less.
i just bought this motherboard, but my m.2 not detected, even i change into another slot it still not detected. i use ADATA SSD SU650 M.2 2280 240GB SATA III ASU650NS38-240GT-C
Tricky to diagnose if you don't have another M.2 to test. It might be your M.2 or it might be the motherboard. But if the drive is detected in the BIOS but not in Windows Setup then you might need the Intel RST drivers. Is the drive detected by the BIOS?
It depends on your GPU. Most extend their thickness downwards so the M.2 connector above the PCI slot is usually clear and you can use one with a heat sink on it. You can see this when I take the motherboard out of its bag.
There’s no LEDs on the motherboard, but Mystic Light is the MSI RGB ecosystem so it’ll work. Personally, I use OpenRGB as that works with just about everything.
It'll work... the board has two ARGB (5V 3 pin) and two RGB (12V 4 pin) connectors. 😊 You should consider OpenRGB though - there's a nice Effects plug in for it that's pretty cool.
I just bought this motherboard any tips for working in bios. Also Please let me know if you have any tips or info period, very much appreciated!

@@sterntechdaddy Thank you!
Does this board have front panel audio headers? Im worried when i build my pc i wont be able to use the audio jack on my case
Yes it does!
So don’t worry. 🙂

Check which LED is on. First boot can take a while though.
Can you enter the BIOS?
@sterntechdaddy red (cpu) and orange (dram) ram 2x16, i wait for half hour but nothing happened.
No, i can't

are you able to access the 1x pcie slots with a graphics card? it looks like it's in the way but I can't tell

@@sterntechdaddy it just my stupid brain, i'm not read clearly the spec. my m.2 sata is not supported for it. but thank you for your reply.

If i add a nvme m.2 in slot 1, will it fit with a heat sink? Id like to get the sx850x w. Heat sink, but unsure about the clearance to the GPU.

Is this Mohammad had argb sync softwere😢
Not sure what you mean, but I use OpenRGB to sync everything.
🙂
He meant to say if this motherboard has a argb header
In which case...
It's got 2x Addressable V2 RGB LED connectors.
:)
Thanks, now can you tell me the difference between this motherboard and msi b560m-b motherboard.
Just have a look at the web pages for each board. That should list the features and allow you to compare.
Is it support mystic light software..?
