DIY bread lame

Hi!
In this video we make Wooden bread lame.
We did make it from olive wood but you can use what you have. Just try to find hard wood.
Bread lame is one of the best tools to score on your bread. It’s so simple to make that you can make it in your garage and you will have you own DIY bread lame.

Awesome video :D I really want to try doing it myself, but have no experience with wood working.
Before I start trying to make something similar to your design, I had twoof questions.
- How long is the wood part?
- When you make the "slot" for the blade, what thickness do you use than?

Try different shapes and lengths and you will see what lengths is the best :)
