Hi :) So yes I was concerned but my friend (works in glass company) did say if I fill the “bottle” to the top with water then will be ok. Also I did clean it with 99% alcohol… we did drink from this dispenser two jack Daniels and and three bottles of local hand crafted whiskey :)

Hi :) I didn’t have problems with that… But I did have the problems with silicone :) some silicone don’t bond quite well with glass…

@@woodeuphonywoodworking thanks for the quick answer, Glass Block #9 actually turned out 😲- I think the Problem was that i drilled too close to the corner and by sacrificing some of the volume in the very bottom and place the spigot a little higher the glass stayed stable. I did not like the Silicone solution either and instead drilled a 1.5 Inch fill hole, which allowed me to reach in with some long needle nose plyers and mount the spigot with the included silicone seals, chrome grommets and nut. I used a black rubber stopper from Home Depot as a stopper and it looks okay.

Uu nice… I will try it with your idea with the silicon seal… maybe will be better than my original idea… thanks :)

Hi :) Thank you :) I use 50x10x5mm magnets. You must look for N45 neodymium magnets. If you use normal N52 you will need to make wall thin as possible (about 1mm) because magnet force is created a mm before the contact. With N42 or a bit cheaper N45 magnet the force is generated 3-4mm before the contact and also at the contact so the wall can bi thicker. I use N42 or N45 and my wall is about 2-3mm thick. I hope that you understood what I just wrote :)

@@exigauner understand… you have s newer model. I have 4 years old and we constantly have a problem… and we use it only for flat surfaces and on edges (manly on tables)….

I did try… machine is hot as stove… and did loose speed and power… :) now I can tell my wife that I need a new drill :D

My dimensions won’t be any good. Each glass block is custom fitted because they aren’t perfect square.

Hi Chris :) So I fix the spigot with silicon glue. I used a metal cork with rubber around where it meets the glass.

glass does not emit harmful substances, only when we drill into it.

Hi :) No there isn’t pressure in it… just make sure that you don’t press to hard and that you add a water to the drilling spot.

First you drill in the wood then you insert glass block and mark where you must dril with the diamond drill… easy peasy :)

Hi :) I didn’t show it but I did wash 10 times before gluing the valve :) there vast big glass pieces in beside 2 small circles … only white glass powder… when you drill don’t push to hard….
