Hi loves! I've always been told that you should keep your Gua Sha/Jade Roller in the fridge for a de-puffing effect. But I just found out that it should be kept WARM! So wash your tool with warm water and soap before and after. I found this out by Sandra Lashin Chiu, an acupuncturist and herbalist who specialises in treating and rejuvenating skin using the genius of traditional Chinese medicine. Here is a video on why you should keep your tool warm: www.tiktok.com/@lanshinskin/video/7078740181351812395?is_copy_url=1&is_from_webapp=v1
Thank you SO much for this tutorial! I just tried it for the first time following along with you, and that was SO soothing and relaxing…I bought a rechargeable warming gua sha tool from amazon. It was pricey..but sooo worth it! The heat releases so much pressure and just feels so nice💗
Какое личико красивое,и сама девушка красавица,спасибо Вам огромное,я Ваша поклонница,за Вами так приятно повторять, всё очень понятно.Желаю процветания каналу.
I always do this before sleep and I always watch ur tutorial because it seems the best and its a quick video thta tells me exactly how to do without an 2 minute intro!
I just got a gua sha yesterday. I found your video so helpful! Is there any wrong way to use this tool? Meaning using a certain side for one part of your face rather than another side?
Hi Mary! The only thing I can think of is applying too much pressure, not cleaning your tool or dragging/sliding the tool downwards can be "wrong". But other than that, it's very versatile and you can make up your own routine depending on what you want to sculpt once you get the hang of it 🥰
Anything that creates a slippery surface is completely fine to use. You don't want to tug on your skin with the tool. That can create the opposite effect of what we want :)
Did this in the morning and and repeated the routine twice. I saw a big difference in my jawline! The front part of my cheeks right next to my nose and mouth were more defined. It just gets rid of all the puffiness!
Agreed! You can see instant results, doing this consistently really helps with sculpting the face. Another tip is to keep your gua sha tool in the fridge the night before so you get a nice cool feeling on your skin. Helps even more with the puffiness 😃
thank you so much! When I started using the Gua sha I didn't find any follow a long videos so I decided to give this one a go, nice to know it is appreciated 💞
just received my gua sha package today and I'm so glad I saw your video! definitely doing the routine tonight. your voice and the music is sooo relaxing
I’ve been having so much facial stiffness probably related to stress / TMJ problems. I don’t own a guasha yet since I wasn’t sure if it would help in my case. But after watching this I think finally I’ll give it a try!! 💛
sorry to hear that... really hope this routine can help you out! Any gua sha works, you can even do this routine with your hands actually if you don't want to buy a gua sha tool. Going to do a video about that soon. Keep me updated on the results 💖
Your tutorials are perfection - I love to follow along! So relaxing 🥰 Can you possibly share more info about why you shouldn’t do this when you are feeling sick?
I have almost always applied rosehip oil to my face at night anyways, so why not add a gua Shua in the application process! Day two for me now. Documenting the results for sure but so far it’s just a nice “me” time and focusing on myself in a nice way. I have BFRB so anything that is “nice” to my body is a big help for my recovery. Thank you for being a part of that ❤
Thank you so much for your tutorial. While it was straight to the point it was slow enough for me to keep up! Before I found yours, I was constantly pausing and rewinding the others. Thank you!
thank you! glad you enjoy them. I've heard that it can cause the virus in your body to spread and make you more sick. Kind of like when you feel like a cold coming, and you "shouldn't" get a hot massage. I don't know how accurate that is but better safe then sorry :)
Such a soothing, relaxing and helpful video! Thank you! I am going to watch your video every night and add this to my skincare routine. I do how one question - why is it necessary to hold the fingers on the chin, nose etc? How important is this part of the routine? Thanks again! I’m subscribing. :)
thank you for the support! Glad you enjoyed the video. Well, it's honestly just for support so you don't drag your skin. Doing that overtime can cause skin sagging ❤️
You are so beautiful and have flawless skin. Thank you so much for this video my gua sha will be coming in soon and i will do this every morning and night. You are truly the best! ♡
What a beautiful, relaxing and mindful video. I will watch this again tomorrow morning when I use my Tigers Eye 'Gua Sha' for the first time. Thank you so much x
The best video by far straight to the point relaxing she make it so simple. Unlike others just want to talk talk talk for an hour before demonstration.
I just got a gua shua and your tutorial helped so much, thank you!! It was so relaxing and straight to the point:) out of curiosity though, is there a certain reason why the gua shua should be flat on the jawline instead of using its side? Like it it harmful to your skin or the results are just more prominent using the flat side?
Thank you so much! Glad it helped you out 😃 yes, its more ”gentle” when it is layed flat on your skin, it also covers more space so you get an even and relaxing sensation 🥰 its not harmful, its only harmful if you apply too much pressure!
Great video and super relaxing just to watch you using it. I just got a gua sha and have watched a number of videos, but this is the first time I’ve seen the wiggling when you reach the top. Can’t wait to try it out!
Thanks a million for this upload. Hola be just followed your tutorial after a busy/stressful day and now I feel much more rested and in tune with myself. Lots of love from Spain
Thank you so much for this! I’ve watched other Gua sha tutorial videos but urs has been the best with the most helpful techniques to get rid of my tension headaches and congestion , cheers!
After everything! So cleanser, toner, serum, moisturiser or oil as the last step and after that you go in with your clean Gua Sha tool :) Don't wash anything off your face afterwards
I love your tutorial, it’s very simple and relaxing to watch. I followed along for the first time and I’m seeing instant results around my jawline. Only issue is, how do you keep your face moisturised like that whilst doing gua sha? I put my serum on, wet the gua sha and moisturised too but it was still very dry and was getting tugged at by the gua sha.
Try face oil or extra moisturizer! When I don’t feel like using oil, cerave moisturizer works just fine. Serums usually sink into the skin really fast and doesn’t provide that slippery surface. You shouldn’t need to wet your gua sha 🥰
i just got one and i’ve been researching how to use it! This was super helpful and of course you are stunning!! I did hear you say to not use it if you’re sick, is there a certain reason?
Am actually under dermatologist consult for my acne, pores, uneven skin tone and skin texture. Am using adapalene and benzoyl peroxide cream for acne and Depi white for pimple scars at night routine. Morning routine starts with arbutin face wash and a cream for dullness reduction. How should I include gua Sha routine ?
hm.. Im not a professional by any means so I really don't know if it's suitable for you during your acne treatment. I would advise you to talk to your dermatologist for an accurate answer. I just know Gua Sha tool should not be used on broken skin and pustules. Don't want to risk making it worse for you during your treatment 💖 But you can definitely use it after you have seen improvement on your skin!
Hi! Love your video! I was going to ask.. I’m struggling with a bit acne and do you have any oil you recommend that benefits my acne and is helpful for this routine?
Hi! Im not really good with products when it comes to acne unfortunately. Everyone reacts differently to different products as well depending on their skin situationen. I found a website with lots of oil recommended. Maybe some of these? nymag.com/strategist/article/face-oils-for-acne-prone-skin.html
Try the Fresh Seaberry Oil! I’m super acne-prone (done Accutane two times, neither stuck) and the Seaberry Oil doesn’t break me out! I apply 3 drops (rarely, but sometimes 4) on my cheeks and forehead and use the my hands to spread it out before rubbing the excess from my hands onto the gua sha!
Idk how to gua sha is supposed to work, but from other people I heard you are supposed to make the gua sha cold? Is this correct or do you just use it how it is?
Yes! You can definitely use it cold, so pop that in the freezer before using it. Especially in the morning when your face is a bit more puffy :) I don't put it in the freezer because I always forget lol. It's a really nice feeling when it's cold 💕
Thank you so much for this!❤️ Just ordered a guasha and I'm confused using it everyday as I have serums, toners and essences in my routine. Can I still use a guasha without disturbing the products?
Hola, me encanta como lo explicas todo despacio buen ritmo, bravo.Me gustaria que hicieras un video pero con todo el masaje por todos los sitios de la cara, gracias.🙏
I love this and I'm going to incorporate into my day and night routine! Quick question - do I put oil in my face, do this and then wash my face and do the rest of my skincare?
Should you wash your face after you finish? I ask, because oils are supposed to be applied after your moisturizer. Or can you do this once you have your serums, eye cream, retinol, moisturizer?
Hey sis! I was just wondering if, instead of using the face oil, could i use a normal face moisturiser (like nivea face cream) ? Im on a budget ! thank u so much :)
Just got my gua Sha and I'm loving this tutorial. But I do have a question. I have a tendency for oily skin so what product should I use to make the gua Sha slide easily without me becoming super oily after? Any recommendations? Thanks!
as long as you have a slippery surface while doing Gua Sha, you can use anything that is suitable for your skin 😊 But I've heard jojoba oil is good for oily skin and if not, moisturising cream works fine, I've use that when my oil has run out.
i have a very asymmetrical face and my jawline needs some work. thanks so much (i usually do more jawline strokes on one cheek than the other to help even up my face)
The Gua Sha tool can be used in so many ways and after a while you can choose how to "sculpt" your face and im happy to hear that you found a routine that works for you! 😍
Hi, love the video! Was wondering where this would go in a morning routine with sunscreen? As I was worried adding oil afterwards would break it down :)
I just got one today. It was the last one on the shelf but it has three "humps". Not like the one you have. I intend to get another one but want to know if this three "humps" one is not as good?

Is it bad if you keep the gua sha in the freezer? That’s honestly one of my favorite parts about this.
Muffins Lolo if it’s real jade or real rose quartz it will crack so don’t keep it in the freezer if it’s real

I just got one today. It was the last one on the shelf but it has three "humps". Not like the one you have. I intend to get another one but want to know if this three "humps" one is not as good?
You can use yours that has three humps! Completely fine. Different Gua Sha can just be used differently. Mine is just really beginner friendly 🥰
Hello! I was just wondering if I can wash my face to rinse off the sunflower oil after using gua sha ? or should I leave it on my face ?
if its a face oil meant for the face then you can leave it on but if not... I recommend you using moisturiser or something else instead :)
