      Sweet rig Jillian! We're working on our camping setup and were wondering what those little lights you have on the outside of your tent are? A couple of those would work great on your 10x10 canvas tent!

    This stuff is great. I've been doing "overlanding" for 25 years. My setup is rather modest in comparison, but have quite a few tricks up my sleeve. I also prefer sleeping on the ground vs high in the air above my rig. Good to see you guys having so much fun and with a variety of vehicles to boot.

    Just when I think I have the best set up I can possibly have you put out a video like this giving me more ideas. Love these types of videos where I see more of what everyone is running. It's also pretty cool that it's not just Jeeps you're interviewing but a whole variety. More please!

    I had a JKU a few years ago. Sold it for a 300 SRT. I have owned jeeps most of my life, so having a car was a bit new to me. But recently I traded it in on 2018 Jeep JLU Rubicon. I miss the car, it was one of kind, but I don't regret it. Maybe a tiny bit seeing it on the road with the work I had done to it. But I'm back into a Jeep and looking forward to getting back out there. Your channel is truly great to watch. Not only because everybody seems to have a big heart and really enjoying, but the fact that it doesn't matter what rig your wheeling with, everyone loves appreciates all the others out there. Which is the way to do it. If I ever run into you guys out here in Texas, I'll have my wife cook up some Thai stir fry for you guys. She loves cooking outdoors and feeding people. Drive safe, and take care of each other.

    Always enjoy watching your vids, thank you. I am slowly but surely prep-ing my JKU when I retire in 2 years. Your vids really helps me a lot on the amazing vehicles rigs, great ideas of what I need to to do.

    Frank is the man! Definitely my style for sure. Simplicity, all the way down to the ground tent. I know overlanding requires a lot of gear, but man... I am just overwhelmed at some of the crazy setups some people have. It honestly is exhausting to even look at some of those crazy setups. I can't imagine having to pack/unpack/setup/haul all that stuff.
    Also, the response to why he likes to be outdoors? Perfect. Like Frank, I also used to spend tons of time outdoors as a kid and in my early 20's, but school and work kind of changed that. I am starting to get outdoors a lot more now since things are slowing down and it's been great getting back into that sort of lifestyle again. It doesn't matter what vehicle you have or what gear you have. Just find a way to get outdoors and enjoy it no matter what! Nice setup Frank!

    You folks are the epitome of happiness, I've never owned a truck or an SUV in my life until recently.
    Currently I own Mitsubishi Outlander Sport and have been exploring the Backroads of my city. it's a 2wd with A/T's (LOL).
    Since I have gotten this SUV I have done a lot more camping in the middle of nowhere, and i see Jeep clubs and overlanders all the time and now I envy it.
    Y'all got a new sub with me!

    Love all the different styles everyone has with all their different rigs. I just bought a rooftop tent to start going out in my F150! I have to get the rooftop rack custom installed because I can't find any for my truck. I'm doing this for several reasons but primarily, it's to get back to nature and time with family and bug out if and when we ever need to. Awesome lifestyle to add for Prepping! Your way ahead of me when it comes to bugging out.

    What a great video. Being new to 4 wheeling and camping, it’s so easy to waste money on buying the wrong thing or buying things twice. With the way you break things down, it’s so appreciated. • @MC-ti2vn
      @MC-ti2vn 5 лет назад

      This is high dollar stuff - but you can experience the same sense of adventure with a lot more “primitive” gear and setup. Single income as well, went all over NV with tents, a Coleman stove and a Sami. Build as you go. Now have a Jeep LJ with all the cool racks... but kids are all grown. Wait long enough and you’ll miss the adventure. There’s mud in every state, but also some sort of trails, as well. If you wait til you can afford a build.... you’ll never build, lol. Unless you are independently wealthy and can drop your rig off and get it built for you. Point is, you have what it takes to get out and adventure, if what you have will get you back. That’s the most important “accessory.” 👌

    For those guys running coolers with ice. Consider using dry ice. It lasts a long time and it's much colder so it can keep things frozen. If you pack the cooler right, you can essentially have a freezer and a fridge in one. The best part, you never have to drain the water. Just my 2 cents.

    “Wanted a tent that handles wind and everything else Southern California throws at us” which is basically nothing else. Coming from camping in the PNW hearing SoCal people talk about rugged camping is amusing. Still a sweet rig and awesome channel. Looking to get rid of my 2012 Tacoma for a jku. The access cab doesn’t fit the family anymore (plus don’t need the pick up with my new job).

    FJ CRUISER!!!!!! Sorry, got a bit excited. I have a FJ Cruiser, so I love seeing them out on the trail. Mine is stock, for now, but with some 31" BFG KO2s. I live in the VA country side on a dirt road with a creek that runs through it, and the road and creek get washed out and flooded very easily. To make matters worse the road goes up the side of a mountain. Love your videos, I'm not a Jeep guy, I own a Toyota, but I can definitely appreciate a well built Jeep, especially if it actually hits the trails.

    Lots of interesting ideas for my Danger Ranger, bummer that M rack isn't made for my 2003 FX4, I would consider one. But I have a few ideas to reinforce my basket rack setup so I can put a water tank up there along with my toolbox and the underside of the basket rack adds options.
