@@marks2718 I feel like the driving bits and the description of how it drives over everything and how well is evidence in and of itself as to how good the thing is
@@WelcomeToAir I'm sure its great and very capable. The production value is spot on. What I felt baited on was the title of 'Bronco Raptor meets Jeep, MB, LR' and the description of 'Jason puts the BRaptor to the test, to see if it can compare to these three legendary off-road vehicle brands.' - none of which really happened. The Jeep absolutely destroys the Bronco in power/weight/acceleration and would be much better in technical off-roading (due to smaller size/solid axles) - Bronco much better in Baha (super specific) and on road manners.
@@marks2718 with better approach, departure, and breakover, bigger tires, smaller wheels, more ground clearance, and a shorter differential ratio. Also, solid front is only better for suspension articulation. Ifs is way better at high speed and provides more clearance since the differential isn’t hanging under the car. Also also, it has way more body armor.
@@The-fs5wn Now we are having a comparison!!! That's what the video was missing!!! But you aren't correct on all stats. Approach: B = 47.2, J = 47.4. Departure: B = 40.5, J = 40.4. Breakover: B = 30.8, J = 26.7. Tires: B = 37", J = 35". Wheels: B = 17", J = 17". Ground clearance: B = 13.1", J = 12.9". Crawl ration: B = 68:1, J = 58.1 (V6 MT = 94.1, best in class). All of those stats are fairly close, and the deltas are almost all the difference between 2" larger tires. Correct, solid axles are better for articulation, which when off-roading is critical to keep four tires planted and gripping. You can even see in this video the B hits a moderate rock and instantly lifts the passenger front wheel a foot off the ground. 100% agree the B would be an absolute beast in high-speed desert runs - but most of us aren't near those!
Why is Jason so much better at this than so many others? An unrestrained enthusiasm for the topic is a significant part of it. He loves cars and trucks, and there ain't no doubt about it. But, one can safely assume that 95% of car reviewers love cars (or, at least, at some point on their life did). So love, alone, will only take you so far. So while enthusiasm is a factor, it is not the reason he does this so incredibly well. What is the reason? It couldn't be more obvious: he is an amazing writer. The scripts of most if not all of his videos read beautifully. His syntax is tight. He choice of words is precise and expressive. He manages to write technical, yet take that genre to an emotional space not usually found in the cold, factual dissertations on mechanical creations. He injects humor, drama, even pathos while describing the travel of the suspension or the throw of a gear box. J. Clarkson broke ground on the territory Jason now stomps, and before he descended into self-parody, Clarkson had the ability to grab the viewer by the heart and soul while waxing philosophic on Aston-Martin's latest version of the DB or the vagaries of electric automobiles. Jason has taken the mantle, and as long as he can avoid being overly self-referential, and keep his attention fully focused on the vehicles he's reviewing, he'll be able to stay on top for a very long time, indeed.
I have written maybe at most 5 comments in my life. What Jason did, said and the emotion expressed all pure joy. Thanks for being real man, means a lot. This is my happy place.

As an F150 Raptor owner I love that Ford nailed it with this vehicle as well! And weirdly just like the truck Raptor I bet people discover how good of a daily they are even when you're not sending it in the desert. Ultra comfy because of the suspension, prodigious power, stable even with all the body roll because of the wide track, great in inclement weather and BTW left lane slowpokes nearly always pull over because of the height and aggressive grill.

this just made the bronco raptor my dream car
The 0:51 second mark almost made me cry. The sunset, Bronco climbing up the hill. Wrangler, Defender and G Wagen sitting tall, in their iconic silhouettes, with their daytime running lights illuminated = Just legendary. I had to take a screen shot. My entire childhood flashed before my eyes. We grew up watching these units become the icons they are today. This program was splendid.
Lol with super hero music score; a total treat lol
Jason Cammisa is to automotive journalism what FortNine is to motorcycle journalism. They're both just in an entirely different class.
agreed!
So true, they're just the best, with production value that's out of this world!
I need a Bronco in my life. For real.
So much respect for you actually showing what that car can do. A lot of RUclipsrs don't go this hard.
I say I don't care about a particular car, then Cammisa does a video on it. Seriously, you can't miss any of his content. Best there is, hands down.
I have never watched a car review twice, without being bored, at least at some point in the video. This says something about the quality of storytelling combined with the masterlevel of real cinema-style video- and soundquality!
I absolutely love this series... Jason Cammisa and Anthony Esposito are the perfect combo for the video production... I watch ICONS series on the biggest display and the best speakers possible. Thanks a lot for putting so much effort into producing the content.
Ok guy, so you know better than Jason cammisa? Lol.
If they were only working on something other than an anime cartoon vehicle that doesn't sell.
@@ArcherBowman ummm, thats what makes it cool and unique. your prefer another crossover? and can you elaborate on "doesnt sell"?
@@KN-jw7ts
2021 ford sold 17,000 broncos - ford claims.
2021 Toyota sold 144,000 4Runners - Toyota claims.
@@KN-jw7ts Apparently everyone does, but you. F.O.R.D. RUclipsrs get paid by ford to say nice things. What's your excuse?
Damn. That was amazing. I have a gen 3 F150 Raptor and it almost makes me want to sell it to get a Braptor!
Dude!
I was thinking about your Raptor the other day … I might have a chance to get a gen 3 with 35”s and I remember you put 37”s on yours right away w no issue
@@Superdada yeah, I switched to the 37s, I like them although my next set I’m going to try something other than the KO2s, they seem to be wearing fast and they are a solid inch smaller than other 37s which is weird
@@TrentonPalmer I have 35" Nitto Trail Grappler M/T on my Rubicon and I'm amazed how long they've held up. I'm on my second set. Though not sure mud terrains would suit a Raptor.
IDK if I should love or hate braptor lmao bbrraapp
Just picked mine up a week ago. As cool/fun as an f150 raptor, in a more manageable package….or just for ppl like me that don’t need a truck.
No vehicle has ever done it better than the original Land Rover Defender. To this day, that's all they find and drive in Africa and other extreme locations. Best off road vehicle of all time. That thing is special.
Lmao, that thing doesn't hold a candle to many modern off-roaders
I love Jason because he’s got 98 running through his veins. His breath smells of gasoline. He lives and breathes his love of cars in a way no one else, not even Clarkson, does. And he’s funny. And he’s knowledgeable and he’s a real entertainer. Bravo.
This may be favorite car video ever. Feels like a better top gear version. Love it. Thank you!!
This video is part of the reason I just bought a Bronco Raptor.
absolutely PHENOMENAL once again from Jason and Anthony. You guys really have it figured out. Makes my day/week every single time an episode ones out. THANK YOU Mr. Cammisa
Did I miss the actual comparison in the video? It starts and finishes with 'Bronco Raptor Wins' & 'defecates on all other vehicles'. I didn't see any explanation of that? As example, the Jeep 392 has more horsepower, more torque, weighs less, solid axles, and perhaps most importantly for off-roading - has substantially smaller proportions. How is the BR besting that? I'm not saying it doesn't, but would be good if Jason explained...
I can’t believe this level of production is free to watch.. Jason is an amazing storyteller - make a movie already (:
ICONS is the wow factor of automotive content on youtube hands down
Jason is the best presenter on YT for years, glad that now he has a team to support him.
I have written maybe at most 5 comments in my life. What Jason did, said and the emotion expressed all pure joy. Thanks for being real man, means a lot. This is my happy place.
The production value here for something that is made for RUclips is unbelievable. Well done!
What's the song at 14:55? Is it just some demo? Having a hell of a time trying to find it. Also~ fantastic video as usual from Jason!

To Jason and all his team, this production is a Master Piece, period. Thank you so much to bring this GENUINE video to us, RUclipsrs. Thank you.
My god! What a video! Jason, It's one of my aims to meet you, now! This was like a movie! I thought nobody would come close to old top gear, but this, like the Raptor, takes it to a different level
Ive had a Bronco Badlands since 2021 on 37s. Its been amazing.
The absolute best vehicle review I’ve ever seen thank you so much keep this momentum goin! 🎊 🎉
That Starbucks order killed me 😂😂
This program makes me excited about cars again... Thanks Hagerty and Jason. You made me guffaw loudly in the laundromat this morning.
I have been impatiently waiting for this episode! amazing work as always sir! You are a hero!
What a beautiful film! Good job guys!
Literally some of the best cinematic work I have seen done on RUclips! Kudos to the editing team also!
Best Braptor RUclips to date and I’ve seen them all (have a Braptor ordered).. besides great content, genuinely funny. Prime time worthy. Much better than Kimmel or Fallon. 😂
The production quality is unmatched by any automotive content anywhere
I'm all the way in South Africa and I must tell you that I love how Jason narrates these scenes. He's got me and my 11yr old son all hooked on his videos
Hagerty made a great move bringing Cammisa on.
It should be a crime to watch these masterpieces on your cell phone. I legit wait for my work day to end so I can enjoy it on the Home Theatre.
I discovered Hagerty and Jason just a few days ago and now they are my absolute favourite automotive channel!!!!!!

I need you to know that i work graveyards tonight from 545 until 700 am tomorrow but im sacrifising my sleep to watch this. I am captivated.
Just pick mine up, and you nailed it. Couldn’t agree more.
I dont know if he had it in sport, but with paddle shifters you would swear its a dual clutch, have a raptor bronco with tge whipple tune and intercooler upgrade this truck is amazing on those curves, and I came from an R!
