Thanks for the nice comments Anna, i could achieve more smoother vids if i disabled the FPV mode, im pretty sure the vid software makes it look laggy sometimes too. Things can only get better :)
Hummm, I didn't get that feeling.... I just get over how you're above the birds.... threading through barns.... nice, crisp images... so, what are the long buildings with grass on top?
Anna M. Addison They used to be storage areas for helicopter parts and other military things, there is another part to this area with similar buildings being used for commercial purpose, the houses are also inhabited so i didnt fly there. Theyll be needing roof lawn-mowers sometime in the future lol . All the Airfields around me exist from WW2, this used to be called RAF Carlisle.
Your videos are the first I've watched in FPV mode, only had my P3 for about 2 months and thought they were the only drones you could get haha, I am very new to drones mate. :)
Theres far better ones than mine in FPV, i try to mix FPV with good clips/music, ill be going back to that woods once the wind dies down for some flying under the canopy, so youve never tried goggles yet i guess?
No mate not yet, gotta start off slow right? :) So far I have bought a P3, Osmo with z-axis and a bunch of filters and extras for both. I used to do a lot of Photography and decided to get into filming as well so this is the first route I chose :)
Yeh defo starting slow is best, i wouldnt recommend FPV unless you can fly your Quadcopter in LOS first, the Phantoms do make life easier tho with their GPS and ATTI modes, theyre insane in manual i would not recommend that, theyre pretty arse-heavy, i abuse my Phantom 1 a bit in manual but nothing serious, havent used it for some time now, i added the GoPro, VTX and gimbal to my P2 which is what i fly mainly now, i do have a mini 250 and a large one for endurance/range but they never get much use so theyll be sold off sometime soon i think. You made a good choice with the P3, a lot of people slag the Phantoms off but theyre small, good fun and all youll ever need for good videos :) The OSMO is a nice piece of kit, not something i would use but can see its potential.
Wow! now you are spoiling Me! Your skills are getting sharper and Sharper! Amazing! Thank you again for Sharing! TC, Anna
