Yeh talk about lucky, we were crossing there to get to another field and spotted them, we usually take the long route. We do come across many others but they dont look so appetising, Chanterelles we never seem to find...yet. Yeh we worked hard for those silvers lol.

Well, great! I heard parts of Cumbria were underwater... so glad you're not effected....much. Things are ok here. Yes, the weather is getting cooler but at least we don't have crazy hurricanes to worry about... Be careful now....
Anna M. Addison I havent heard about any flooding locally, may be in another part of Cumbria, its a big county, if my house got flooded most of Carlisle would be underwater lol. Have you got any flying in?

Hi Smudge and thanks, we always show the finds on our "Wheel of Fortune" near the end, perhaps you didnt see it all? FF to 08:30 Were not sure on the brooch thing, if a coin exists like it i guess its possible, would seem like a plated coin though?

Yes i get a good crop every year, iv got a mini green house, had beetroot, lettuce, cress, horse radish, n new potatoes, n green beans!
