I have a truck just like yours and have a question for you. When changing these filters, doesn't get air in the system? Should I fill up the filters with diesel before put it on the truck?
Hi Rodrigo. Sorry for the late reply... Yes, air gets in the system, and i think it's inevitable. Its just a question of how much, depending on our methods. Ive seen the method you mentioned done also, with good results... As with my method, I want to push the air out, thru the outlet side of the filter, while filling the latter up with fuel, as i pump the primer. That's why in the video, the line coming from the filter to the injection pump is undone, while i prime. I think this method also minimizes fuel/air gaps in the line.
