There is nothing wrong with some structure with your homeschooling. I’ve been homeschooling 14 yrs now and structure was what works for us. The flexibility that we get with homeschooling is what we like. I picked my kids curriculum, if we need a break we take one. My oldest will graduate this year and my youngest is starting formal type school this year. We’ve do a play learning the first 5 yrs from 1-5yrs and building on their needs to age. You’ve got this mama your doing great.
Love your homeschool videos! They are so helpful I have a 5 Yr old, 1 Yr old and now due baby #3 So definitely need you exspertese on working from home, homeschooling with 3 kiddos ❤️
I’d love to see a nap time routine video and all content you want to share! I can relate so much to how you used to be as a mom in this season of my life with two little girls (newly one year old and a two, but almost three year old). I’m trying to hard to get into routines and systems, but it can be a struggle. We want to homeschool which seems impossible thinking about it at this time, but we’re trusting in God and looking to resources, like your videos to help get there. You’re really an inspiration and I hope to get to a similar place as you with structure, routine, productivity, child training, intentionality with your kids, homeschooling, etc. Thanks for sharing 🤍
A nap time video would be amazing! I haven’t seen one before besides nap time cleaning. Thank you for sharing your homeschooling journey - getting started in a sense!
I love everything about this! Especially teaching them to be entrepreneurial and the little marketing lesson was so smart. My son is only 3 and I'm expecting our second but I want to homeschool. Thanks for the content and would love even more!
This was such a great video! I love that y’all are teaching them about entrepreneurial skills, most adults do, Or have that information myself included!
I live in a country where homeschooling is not allowed 😔 but we do what we can outside of school life and these things still help. Feel blessed for the opportunity to homeschool!
I apologize if I’m wrong, but I believe Annabel is considered a kindergartner this school year, but California(and most of the US) does not require kids to attend kindergarten. So next year if Annabel was attending public school, she would actually be going into 1st grade. Not that it truly matters since you’re following her lead in learning and doing an amazing job!❤️
"TK" is "transitional kindergarten". It's for kids that don't quite make the kindergarten cut off but turn 5 in that school year (as far as I understand, because they keep lowering the age kids can start TK). Not every kid goes to TK, some go from PreK to kindergarten. So maybe Annabel didn't make the cut off in their state and they hence tracked her as TK? Kids go from TK into kindergarten, NOT first grade.
@@macandchezzz Actually, the US has different cut offs depending on the state. It's not September 1st everywhere. This was filmed in July. In most states the new school year starts in August or September, not July, so they might have been counting July as the previous school year still. If public schooled, she would have been between TK and kindergarten at that time.
I've been watching your channel since you had annabelle. Glad to see you back with new content I am as well wanting to homeschool my son for kindergarten I did homeschool him for preschool. What homeschool curriculum are you using?
I LOVE THIS VIDEO! Thanks so so so much for the inspiration! I have a 7,5, and 3 year old and my oldest does school online but I want to keep my younger 2 off the screens as much as I can for now. Are you planning on using any curriculum??! Would love to know what you are thinking of choosing!! I keep tossing between a few
True. But what I think is awesome is all the footage they will have access to. I was born in the 90s and although video cameras were around, we never had one because they were so expensive and a lot of footage from early cell phones was lost because there was no real way to back up (or people just didn't know/do it). So all I have is pictures. I think it'll be cool for this generation to look back on such a well documented childhood.
I totally forgot to suggest The Read Aloud Revival in your last video. after watching you read to your kids, it reminded me of that one! it's one of my favs. it's by sarah McKenzie who also wrote Teaching from Rest which is also another great one!
Have you considered doing a garden with your children? It’s important they know where their food comes from? Teach the difference between GMO vs Organic foods. Also teach them about Silver and Gold? Food, money and water!!!
Pausing the video to say….I have also learned that I need to do the laundry FIRST THING in the morning or I forget to get to it!! 😂😂😂 Like legit, brush my teeth and then go put a load in and sometimes before I brush my teeth 😂
How is this "bringing regular school home"?? Having structure doesn't mean that you are bringing school home. If you were bringing school home, they would have been doing worksheets. Heck, this was filmed in July. If you were doing "regular school at home" you wouldn't have been on summer break like the public schools (unless you live in one of those few insane states that start school in July). I'd classify this as relaxed homeschooling.
Are the kids in co-op to get interaction with other kids? I was home schooled and feel like it wasn’t the best but neither is public school. Nothing is perfect. New to your channel so I don’t know anything about your practices. Does your husband work from home then?
I love how you realize how blessed you are
THANK YOU for this! I will be homeschooling my kindergartener this year so I am trying to absorb all the homeschool content I can.
Glad you liked it, Brandi!
Watching so many mom's on RUclips just shows me that mom is always the power force the real machine behind all the planning

Good video for kids who don’t go to school I love the way you are teaching them and making school at home feel good for them
Making it feel good to them is super important to me, otherwise it's totally not worth it. Thank you!
Wow y'all are the best parents
You guys are killing it. I love how you are teaching about entrepreneurialism and adding value so young!
I definitely recommend All About Reading for your kindergartener. Such a great reading program!
I second this!!
Love this! I will be homeschooling my kindergartener for the first time so that she can learn at her own pace.
Love your homeschool videos! They are so helpful I have a 5 Yr old, 1 Yr old and now due baby #3 So definitely need you exspertese on working from home, homeschooling with 3 kiddos ❤️
I teach health/PE and loved that part your video! “Have fun be active and get a lot of energy out”. That’s my job in a nutshell 👍🏻
I can imagine takes allot of patience

Thank you for sharing all of your homeschool tips and tricks! We are starting in Aug and I'm very excited.
This was such a great video! I love that y’all are teaching them about entrepreneurial skills, most adults do, Or have that information myself included!
I do love that the older ones are self entertained during your little ones nap time. Any tips on that would be awesome. Mine are 6, 4, and 1. Thanks!

yes! We are starting "kinder" but not registering her legally.

@@mchobbit2951 in the US kindergarten starts at 5 as long as they are 5 by September 1st. Annabel turned 6 in December. So she’s kindergarten age.

@@mchobbit2951 ok either way, she is considered kindergarten age this school year. As you can see Hayley agreed with my comment 5 months ago.

none yet! Will do a video this week on it!
Y'all have really thought out everything as parents

Can you please link where you get all your pretty dresses? You always look so beautiful.
this is madewell!
What book were you reading in 0:24 seconds?
Wow it's amazing to think kids will grow up watching there parenting talking to a camera lol times have really changed
True. But what I think is awesome is all the footage they will have access to. The best mama!! Can you link your shirt/dress worn at the end of the video?
Does anyone know what planner she was using? I want the same one!
Do you have the tuttle twins books? They are great!!

I just thought about it if you homeschool you can choose the days the kids are out of school lol

I have them but we rent so waiting until we buy to plant a real one! Love this idea though!
We homeschool Usa under BJU currilum
This good
We homeschool too
Where is your blue and pink tank top dress that tie on the straps from?
madewell!
What podcasts do you recommend?

Hii

Would u consider putting them in school??(
I doubt it. Watch her "Why You Should WANT To Homeschool📚👩🏫 (What You Need To Know)" I think she would only do it if there were no other way, period.
What state are you in?
California

Yes we work together here digitalincomefamily.com/
And yes! They play for hours. It depends on the co-op I'm sure!
