hello, I tried following the steps today (20th may 2024) and the step after you select MS teams, "screen where it asks to select custom sandbox" is not showing up. MS says I dont qualify for the custom sandbox program. What has changed? can you please update....

It worked on my first try last year. Try doing it using another account as it expired, but it doesnt let me go on with configuration step. It says "not qualify". Guess MS has changed something

Nope, you've to make projects, random projects so the server thinks you're using their apps for your company. If you don't do it then you'll have to create a new account and do all these steps

did you select microsoft teams? if so, it should invite you automatically otherwise would state you don't qualify. Most of us would not qualify as it requires subscriptions to their other products prior. .

When i tried to log in in Word and it said "You cannot use this account for this purpose because it belongs to an organization. Please choose a different account or sign up for a new one"..... Is it only for me ?

Something has changed. After clicking on Teams, Save, there is no Configurable sandbox option. Can't figure ou where to go from here.

I have activated the office in my PC since 8 months ago, it working perfectly and have never asked for renew or reactivation. So don't worry about it and enjoy the products.

This video was clear and informative. In regards with the 92 days that it states under "Renewable E5 subscription" - I suppose repeating the process to use Microsoft Word again after 92 days has passed isn't necessary correct? I saw a couple of responses you've made to other comments stating this was lifetime. That's some great news if that's the case.

I used the account my school assigned me a long time ago to get MS-Office for free.
If you have an account given to you by the organization, and organization has purchased unlimited access of MS Office, then you can use the MS Office for free by using that Email address, but if you don't have any account of any organization where you study or work then you can follow the procedure given in the video.

It's been patched on the Microsoft official website. They no longer automatically let you configure an E5 Sandbox subscription... I don't know what else you'd have to do, asides from present legitimate/authentic credentials from a developer company.

After 90 days you have to create a new one by the help of new email and mobile number and again try to sign in directly word or make a another new user name from developer website and then try to sign in word, like this process.

I am getting popup message while setting subscription Sandbox provisioning is currently disabled due to a technical issue. Please try again in a few days. Why we are getting this message. When it will be resolved
During the process, select the products which you have used or frequently use like for me it was ms teams.
Also, check all the boxes such subscription for newsletter etc.
Go with the following link:
developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/profile/settings/preferences
and:
Profile: check the "I would like information, tips, and offers about the Microsoft 365 Developer Program." checkbox and save
Account Preferences: check some boxes here and there and save.
