The Wide Glide is IMO still the best looking Harley ever made. Enjoy yours, there are fewer and fewer on the road these days but they always turn heads!

Had her for 20 great years I now ride a 1996 Dyna but I have to say the sportster S is one of the uglyist Harleys ever old sporters where pretty but now they have just look like to many other Japanese bikes. sorry young Harley fans

I’ve often thought if l was a Billionaire l would buy Harley, return the bikes to affordable old school looks, mark down the price of accessories for the bike and the rider, and make servicing of the bikes far more reasonable to keep customers as well as draw in new ones. I have over 65 years of riding under my belt and owned Ducati's , HDs, Kawasaki's, Aprillas, BSA's, Nortons and everything else. I pro Road Raced and Drag raced. As far as HD goes. The Breakout is my favorite. 90% of riders today will NOT know the difference between the 114 and 117 engines and few will feel the difference between the 107 and 117. I think HD should STOP having new models with a 114 or 117 and put the same motor in all but the sport bikes. Come on HD. Give us the 135 on every one on all except the smaller rides

Go to any Harley Davidson dealer. You'll find more employees parking spots taken than any customers. I've gone to multiple dealers in different states, and have been treated like I'm invisible. I've yet to even been offered a cup of coffee. And never a test ride. I don't want to see any aftermarket bling installed on a new unit. I want a stock bike at a decent price. Good luck finding one. When the narrator said that buying a Harley was an investment, i had to laugh. It's a liability. And if you're paying over sticker, as in just about every dealer I've been in, you're sending the owner on a paid vacation.

My 76 fxe. The tires roll, it will go over the speed limit. The sound of will make you think Is your goosebumps are breeding. I've Addressed the factory flaws , so no , it doesn't leak oil. The insurance is cheap, the taxes for the year are less then a carton of cigarettes. Sometimes being poor, can make you look smart- and cool as hell.
Harley has lost their collective minds! Prices, high cost for products, and crazy maintenance fees are the reason they continue to lose business! These new bikes are ridiculous and will hasten their demise. Too bad, too.
When I bought my '05 Buell XB12 SCG for $10,500 I compared what I was getting compared to ANY other Harley and I was getting the best bang for buck. My bike came standard with an oil cooler, steel braided brake lines, fuel injection, huge floating disc brake and other H-D bikes at the time that cost $16k or more didn't even come with that stuff showed me how much they gouge the H-D rider. One time my bike was in the shop for a transmission warranty work and I had an Electra Glide Ultra as a loaner bike. It was a great highway bike as I couldn't use 6th gear unless I was going almost 80 but, it was a pig to ride around town just to run some errands. It weighed so much and was so bulky it was just too much bike for a daily rider.
Harley Davidson does not make anything I want to ride anymore I will just keep rebuilding my shovel head like I've done for 40 years bought it brand new in 1976.
Love the Nightster and Sportster S but cannot justify the premium price plus all the surcharges HD is famously known for. Was told Sporster S out of the dealer price $21K. HD Nighster not the special even had a managers special price of $16.999 which still has me scratching my head what’s included there.
Ive tried street bob. Amazing motorcycle (if you ride 60 mph - anything over this is fighting with nature) if harley was not so ugly with windshields it would be me go to brand. All cruisers with windshields looks shit to me and naked are just not comfortible over 60mph... thats why I will stay in adventure sector.. unfortunally as I love torque in those HD...
I would love to see harley davidson produce an old school bike with SOME of the modern technology. Personally I would prefer a key compared to a fob anyday. Dodge went a little old school with the challenger and it looks good. Why can't harley do the same.
