- I made EIGHT paintings in this video. This took 2 months to make. I wasn't trying to do anything elaborate, but inspiration struck. One thing led to another, and before I knew it I had a painting collection! I hope this video gives you lots of painting ideas and inspiration as well!
Feel free to paint with me as you watch all of these art time lapses/weird commentary lol. This is a longer video meant to be more of a "hang out" and create with me sort of thing.
All of these pieces are made with acrylic paint - some with large canvases, others with tiny gessobords. You'll see! There isn't a theme for this collection. I guess I just felt like painting whatever.I wanted! It was honestly so fulfilling. 💜

To anyone who gives you a hassle for advertising your shop - are we to expect you to show and teach us how you create all this lovely art out of the kindness of your heart and not make a living, rather work even more at something else to make ends meet? Think about how ridiculous that sounds. This is your career, advertise away! 💜
You are an artist and your name and art is your brand so do not hesitate in promoting your shop....those who appreciate you and your work have no problem with it.

I absolutely love the superbloom painting! This looks like it might be depicting the Anza-Borrego superbloom. I live close to that area. I really enjoy watching your painting process. It amazes me how you can go from a magenta background to a blue and white gingham! You do beautiful work, Mira!

I have to comment because the fact that people give you crap for promoting your artwork and the business you are building from selling it just blows my mind. Promoting yourself and your work is part of being an artist. And if you have a successful platform on which to do it, you'd be dumb not to. Don't ever feel bad for doing so. And allow yourself to be proud of what you create and the work you put into it. Also, thank you for being honest about the struggles. Too many post the "Instagram Perfect" without acknowledging that there are often a lot of missteps and redoing of things until we are moderately happy with the outcome. Because as we all know, a painting is never really finished.

I LOVE the landscape painting. Especially the clouds. Clouds/skies at sunset is one of my most favorite things in the world!! While driving down the road in the evenings, many many times, I will see a beautiful sunset and cannot help but to just thank the Lord for His wonderful creation and praise Him for it! I wish so badly I could paint sunsets and do them even a tad bit of justice like you can!

Never feel ashamed or anything like that about sharing your art with us and "pitching" your shop and paintings. You're an amazing artist and you deserve to be able to offer these things to the world and there's tons of people who want them.
