Making PAINTINGS inspired by OUTFITS?! *haul & paint with me*

  • In this video, I'm making paintings inspired by OUTFITS. This is a clothing haul PLUS a big paint with me marathon. THREE acrylic paintings will be happening in this video, and all of them are essentially prompted by the clothes I bought.
This video is NOT sponsored. This is something I've been wanting to do for a long time! I bought everything in this video from June Adel, which is a small clothing boutique with affordable prices. I am not affiliated with them - just purchased this as a treat for myself. Hope you like the artwork that was inspired by a little wardrobe makeover! :)

I can definitely see the inspiration and tie-in to all the paintings. Especially the last painting. Your art has such an unique style. I know this sounds strange, but your style reminds me of no one else. That is a great thing!.. it means your style is true only to you and you are very original. I'm also an artist and I watch a number on RUclips. You, by far, are my very favorite. Yes, please. Do more videos like this one.

The first for me would be a woodland creature coming out of a dark forest into a lightened clearing!
2nd is 100% a cute little garden by a small alcove beach!
3rd is a night festival ( like barefoot masquerade ball in the middle of a field!

That's a great reminder about our bodies. I'm struggling since having my baby and this brightens my thoughts.
I love this idea! For the first one I would have done some sort of floral garden but just across the page. Yours is so much more creative!
The 2nd artwork I would have done a tropical flowery poolside type of thing. I love the flowers and the edge of your canvas.
I think the 3rd artwork reminds me so much of the red shirt you had on while you painted it. Standing next to it though it matches your blue dress wonderfully. I would have done some sort of folk art style painting with a blue background.
    All were so beautiful!
Please do this again if you want to.

For the first dress, I thought using some of those muted colors of greens would be really nice to have as a background, and then do some Zentangles on the top of them. I am like you in the summer, I love wearing dresses. I know it’s officially summer when I get my dresses back out to wear. 😊 For the brightly colored top, I think it would be cool to use those bright colors in kind of like big blobs. Then I would draw mandalas on each one. So it would be like having a garden mandalas. For the blue dress with decorations on the sleeves, it was giving me folk art vibes. So I would do those kind of patterns with those colors.

For the first dress, at first glance my mind went to mandala art and some traditional Indian paintings, for the second I thought of doing a rose garden full of different colored roses and the third one just gave me Vibe of like making a frame with like leaves flowers and vines and then add a really beautiful quote in the centre 🫰🫰

When I first saw the title, I thought ohh, yay! More paintings of animals dressed in clothing. After slight disappointment... I was like oooh pretty paintings.
After I accepted it wasn't to be animals in clothing...lol...
The 1st dress, I thought of a field of different kinds of wildflower's in blues, greens, creams, greys with splashes of colour coming from butterflies and birds with a couple of your little what I call jelly bean flies...lol.
The 2nd shirt, for some reason, it made me think of stained glass flowers with rays of light shining in from behind.
The 3rd dress (my favourite outfit) made me think of the ocean, with loose blooms of flowers floating in it, like maybe some that got loose from a lei. And a colorful octopus swimming among the flowers.
I like the idea of you thrifting clothing and painting from that. However I love that you used this project as an excuse to actually buy yourself new things, as it's well deserved. So I'm going to vote for you to buy more new clothing pieces and do more paintings inspired by them.

The last dress reminds me of Isabella from encanto. All three pieces are very nice, it was the third that stood out to me because of that movie. Btw i loved the movie and she was my favorite character in it because i love flowers. I think I got that from my grandmother, she used to love gardening.

For the 1st one I feel like I would have painted a folk arty something. The sudden pop of red in the dress also reminds me of tomato plants, like the red tomato peeking through the leaf..? Anyways STUNNER as always mira! I love the artwork! ❤❤❤

OMG now it all makes sense and I can't believe I guessed this painting (the last one) was inspired by clothing when you showed it in your "What I've Been Doing and Creating" video a couple of weeks ago! I just guessed the wrong clothing. *I think* it was inspired by the blue dress, but you subconsciously were also inspired by the shirt you were wearing when you painted it! 😜Or since it took "days" to finish, perhaps your painting inspiration inspired you to wear that shirt that day. The dress looks great on you by the way, and I really love the painting.
