Red Sea Reef wave 25

Hi everyone,
In this video we are unboxing the brand new reef wave 25 by red sea.
We also show you how to connect and quickly use it on the Red Sea app called reefbeat.
We then show you a quick clip of the pump inside a wet display red sea reefer 250 aquarium.
First impressions of this wave maker are very good indeed.
Its very versatile, easy and simple to setup, but most of all it is super quiet.

I'm looking at getting a red sea reefer 350, would you recommend the reef wave 25 or 45 on this tank and would it be ideal to have one either end of the aquarium? Also can you link two of these together to alternate wave direction??

Hi Nano,
Go for it you certainly won't be disappointed with the 350.
I would certainly recommend 2x Reefwave 25 as the 45 would be way over kill.
You can position them either end or try vertically either side of the weir.
Being able to move the individual impellor positions makes it very useful for directing flow.
Yes you can link the two pumps together.

Can you put that in the back wall of the 250 or is it recommended to be placed on the side where you have it?

Most of the time side because we find the lateral flow works better.
If placed onto the back panels horizontally it will more then likely blow the sand away from the front panel of glass.
If placed vertically on the back panel that could work.
