Love the attention to detail like the traffic signals changing (even the pedestrian lights!) and the way the snow is melted more outside the convenience store entrance due to foot traffic. George's music, as well as the piece by Richard, brings it all together. The ending with Noriko doing morning stretches is perfect!
I really have fallen completely in love with your channel over the past few weeks. I've been binging each video when I can and it's just been a treat. My favorite aspect of Shenmue has always been the NPCS and the lives they lived. While most people play Shenmue just for the story and don't even pay attention to the small details, the fact there are hundreds of individual characters all living their own personal lives within this virtual world always blew me away. I would spend countless hours getting to know each and every one of them on a personal level and seeing you bring them all back after all these years, it honestly feels like greeting old friends and family again. The nostalgia is immense. You pay attention to every single detail, even knowing where each individual character lives, who their relatives are, what their routines would normally be. I mean who among the many thousands who claim to love Shenmue would even bother to know that Minako-San and Yuji are brother and sister, or that Noriko lives next to the shrine in Yamanose or even Hirata-San changing Shinkichi-San's diapers when he was a baby. No one who plays this game pays attention to all these little details. I honestly thought I was the only one. It's always been a personal fantasy of mine to be able to recreate the world of Shenmue and tell the stories of the NPCS that live there so these videos especially are an endless treat for me, they really are. How you're able to rebuild the assets, add in better lighting, new locations and even completely new animations for the NPCS is beyond me but I'm noticing every detail with wonder. The Hirata-San and Shinkichi-San videos are my two personal favorites so far. I even have them on my phone and tablet and am using them for ASMR because they honestly really are helping me sleep at night. I'm gushing, I know but these videos really do mean the world to me. I know you don't pull in a lot of page views, I know first hand how frustrating that is, but I'm definitely paying attention for each and every upload. Keep up the amazing efforts!

The perfect mix of new and old assets, the unique framings of all the scenes shown, coupled with the iconic music of Shenmue and your amazing original songs and remixes… it all blends together perfectly and creates a joyful atmosphere that completely sucks you in. Your videos really feel like something AM2 could have made back in the day to celebrate the world of Shenmue, and I bet even Suzuki-sensei would be astonished by the quality of your work! Literally days after George’s last track, he goes and releases another masterpiece. Words can’t really do it justice but in short, it fits perfectly in line with Shenmue’s Christmas tracks. 2. 3:23 - Absolutely love how you integrated the anime into the game. Nice to see Ryo and Nozomi out together for a change too! 3. 4:39 - Really did draw a smile seeing my cover playing alongside the beautiful scenery. Grateful to you guys for the opportunity to be featured in your videos. 4. 8:29 Nearly got me there! I had to back track and think whether or not Etsuko actually had any visible tattoo’s in the game 😂 5. 9:57 - Magical shot. Remember seeing this shot mentioned on Shenmue Forever’s post. “Image you can hear”. Sums it up perfectly. Was really cool to see this in motion too. 6. 15:18 - Would have been really cool to have seen locals walking back from Abe’s store with presents in the actual game, really like that touch. 7. 17:39 and 20:07 - Both remixes sound absolutely fantastic! Dreams sounds even more dreamy than ever before! 8. 26:28 - Love the transitions between night and day. I could almost feel the warmth of the sunlight. From being a kid obsessing over these games growing up, now seeing all this new content you guys have put out for us, you’ve personally reignited my nostalgia each and every time. Thank you for taking us back on that journey to that incredibly crafted and beautiful world. The spirit of Shenmue and the sense of wonder it creates, continues to live on through your storytelling and songwriting. Merry Christmas to you both and wish you the best for the 2023!

its neither! It's just recreated in Blender. We are making a game coming out Monday the 18th called Dreams of Saturn. Not as pretty but a lot of mini games and stuff.
