This is a bit of Shenmue magic. Very restful.
I'm amazed by what you and your brother are achieving. If you get a chance in the future, I'd love it if you could allow for slower walking in Dreams of Shenmue (ideally with an Xbox gamepad option too), as it makes me feel motion sick walking so fast. As it is I can play it in short bursts, and love it. Opening scene was brilliant.

This isn't the game! We tried to get this level of snow into Dreams of Saturn but it crashed...too much detail. The game is very much his project but I'm sure he'll read this. I did make the cut scenes so thanks for liking the intro!

This is Joe's Christmas video. Not my game. My game would fry every computer in existence with this kind of quality. :) EDIT: I should clarify that the snow is the issue. His snow has polygons in each flake I believe. Not possible to do in my game without it bringing the fps down like crazy.

The disc brake on the motorcycle in the first scene looks weird, I can't stop staring at it.

You're right. I didn't notice that. The issue sometimes with round, transparent textures is that they are mapped like a pie, 1/4th texture repeated 4 times to create a circle rather than a larger texture of the whole disc brake. I had it setup only to split in half. I will delete the video and start again 😮
