Love this build, buddy !! 👑 Owned 4 different Monte's in the 90s. Had a 1980,1983, 1984 T top and a 1986 luxury sport... I used to change my rim's more than I changed my shoe's. 14"True knock-offs, 14"Supreme's, 20" wires ect. Im sitting on a mint 1980 t top ( changing it to a 78 my fav year). It has been parked in a barn for 20 years ! You're video's have put some fire under my ass! Thank's!

78-79 are the 2 hardest cars to find. probably from turning into race cars and derby cars,. i regret ever selling mine...love that your saving it.

Cool video and awesome work on the Monte. I almost bought a 79 back in college and ended up with a 90 CRX. I love both cars CROWN!!!
sumting i seen done to a car a while back was that they put hydraulic lift cilinders between the chassis and body in place of the rubber bodymounts and adapted the floor so it body dropped further over the frame
that allowed him to keep the suspension and steering geometrie stock and still make the car look like its laying frame

This used to be me and my dads Monte Carlo, i have pictures of it from before. It was so damn hard to find a 78 taillight for it we had to go to a junkyard to get taillights for it.
I just like that you talk like we are just a group of guys screwing around but at the same time there’s little spots where if you pay attention you can learn something . CROWN👑

Just a few things let to do. New windshield. Fix Janky front bumper.
Hope you show us the finished interior, and take it for one last drive. Once it's running properly.
If you notice in the movie Alonso only uses the hydrolics or it’s prolly on air bags cuz you can’t even tell what his lift looks like or what he has in the trunk but you do see he has hydrologic like switches in the center console of the car other then that the air bags knowadays replicate that easily and everything in movies is never recorded with sound. All cars in movies any sounds they make are added later on in the editing process. That’s movie magic that makes the Monte sound so cool when he hits the switches. But then he never hits them again I would put some fake stick on bullet holes in the back window though
Now that is the type of office I would love to work in.....😂

My step dad had that Monte Carlo in my youth: it was fun.Much later we called it a "losermobile" due to the sad people who decided that this vehicle type was their hill to die on- you have exorcised than moniker. Beautiful, relatable, build car. Congratulations.
