Wow. I searched RUclips just this morning looking for this. Found a video of yours from 2 years ago. I was going to comment later today to ask for a step by step routine. I cannot believe this. Thankyou so much.
@@missmadam2797 perfect timing! 🙂 hope it helped
@@CancerRehabPT Of course, when has one of your videos not been helpful?
How often should this be done a week?
Thank You! My swelling in my lower leg and ankle disappeared today!
@@robincooper9877 Yay! amazing to hear!
After my second breast cancer I really need this! ❤
Thank you for this very good info . Many people didn't know how important to unblocked our lymph nodes, blockage in lymph nodes can cause so many health issues in our whole body . I myself learned Chinese traditional lymphatic system massage it's a bit different from yours but the point of the lymph nodes still the same lol
Does this make you pee a lot? Is it better to do this in morning? What will I begin to feel? How often do I do these?
Thank you for sharing, blessings to you. ✝️💜
How frequently is it recommended to do this massage?
@@carlatejada2051 it varies based on someone’s needs for it. Most between weekly and daily. Here is more info! How Often to Do Lymphatic Drainage - Optimal Frequency

I love this video😊❤. Thank you. This is what i need.
Great video--Thank you
I can say that you are an amazing person, I watched and followed your instructions about lymphatic drainage for the lower body part and face, neck and shoulders area. Honestly I hate doctors and I decided to treat myself by myself I had swelling in my feet due to long standing and it worked like magic. I'm doing the routines every 2 to 3 days and I'm shocked with the amount of excess fluid that was held in my body. Thank you so much you are an inspiration and I wish you all the best of luck in your life❤❤❤. May I know if I need to prevent the feet swelling before it starts and I know that in that specific day I will be standing for longer hours, shall I do the routine before ?, because currently I'm only doing it after I see the swelling and usually before I go to bed
What if you have had some lymph nodes removed from an armpit?
Loved this excerises. I followed along with you. I did get abit wore out but keep going. I will try to continue this . Maybe every other day as I like some if your other excerises as well , alternating them possibly. Thank you so much. Happy happy.
@@marlawetherell8785 it’s a long one because it’s the full body! Sometimes even focusing on one area a day can help balance it out 🙂
With my hysterectomy the surgeon preformed a complete lymphedectomy, so how should I move fluid through groin area?
I had the same operation.
I really need this. Your great!!!
This just blows my mind. I’m going to try this when I. Not in bed. So cool. I’m a newsuby
Kelly you’re the very best! 😀
@@Rayygunn1 thank you for the kind words 😊
So great! Thank you.
Is working with a hand or dry brush more effective?
Do you suggest the rebounder? If yes should I do both the massage and rebounder?
How does this differ from the dry brushing routine from a few months ago? It looks exactly the same? Is the pressure different? Will the dry brushing be effective in a similar way? (Because doing both would mean I'd never get to do it and my skin, especially the slightly fibrotic areas, really loves the dry brushing.) Also, could this be done with a gua sha tool? Or one of the ball rollers? Given how many of us have hand/wrist/arm mobility or pain issues, using just my hand for something like this isn't an option (even if I reduced it to just the opening circles and one quadrant at a time over the day or days.) I can't exert even light pressure for that long with my hand in that position. It's the same problem I have with all the manual lymphatic drainage/self massage techniques. But I've done OK with holding the Cecily Braden brush or the gua sha tools with a handle/finger loop area. (Can't press with the thumb.) What are the best options if you can't use your hand?
Is it best to stand while doing MLD?
Thanks!
wow, thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. I greatly appreciate the support!
@@CancerRehabPTcan I do this every day?
@@CancerRehabPTwhat is the best time to do it?
Hi Kelly - I really appreciate your channel. 5.5 years out from surgery, chemotherapy and radiation on the left mandible. I do fuss with lymphedema and fibrosis. Any thoughts on the Flexitouch in addition to manual treatment regimen? Thank you!
@@tomsawyer6587 in my personal opinion, the flexitouch helps a select few. It doesn’t cover all areas of the face and neck that someone needs and can be pricey if insurance doesn’t pay in full. I also have a few individuals that feel like it’s very helpful, too, but it’s a small number who use it
Hi, i just operated the breast on the right side and removed the 7 lymph notes . Can I do this method massage to me?
Yes.There are also videos specifically for arm lymphodema.Make sure once your healed up,to focus on massaging the armpit the nodes were removed from as per Kelly's newer videos. Not the old videos that only massaged away from effected side and down torso.See her Alert playlist. 18 years since I had 11axilla nodes removed.
@crispykmm9646 Hi dear, I am done with the operation on 20th February, and now my right-hand side, armpit, and chest will be pained now, like fill hard when I moved and armpit fill like needle. That filling is not very hours. it's on off and every day fill like that.
Hi, do slowly can touch the inner lymph node area?
Just a minute please, are you suggesting I spend nearly 20 minutes helping myself rid my body of excess fluid? Can’t I just take a pill? Maybe my insurance will pay for home healthcare to come do it for me. 🤓
Obviously being facetious above. Kelly this along with the stretching I do and of course not drinking alcohol makes a huge difference for me. Thank you for taking the time.
Yep,no magic pill.Diuretics actually make it worse as it concentrates the fluid and slows it down.Good idea to drink less caffeine, more water.Yep a little self lymphatic massage regularly is good.,but yep time consuming. But those of us with lymphoedema must do it every day and often or face the uncomfortable effects which accumulate.
@@nowakezoneforever6021 ha, I can appreciate this! Thank you for the smile and your support 🙂
I started to follow the video but just had to ask about the clavical area. I've been told to always open up the system by working on the clavical area and also to end with that. I'm interested in any input on this. Thanks!
That is what Kelly did in this video. Some deep breathing, then started at clavical and neck massage . Did rest of body as you can see in the video. And then finishes with remassaging clavical and breathing.
@@crispykmm9646 thank you for supporting everyone out in the comments 😊 that’s very kind of you
I have too much body fat so I’m struggling to massage myself 😂
