CRV over Rogue. End of the day Honda has better known reliability and resale. If Nissan could get rid of their garbage Jatco transmissions it would be a step in the right direction. Aside from resale and reliability, CRV has better exterior styling and I slightly prefer the Nissans interior over CRV. But end of the day CRV overall, just more pros than cons. I’ve driven a rogue and they just feel under powered as well compared to a Honda. A family member of mine has had multiple Altimas since 06 and they have all had multiple problems with different things by the end of a 3yr lease with all of them and have terrible resale value

I go for honda more quality!

The CRV wins on exterior styling and the hybrid/handling, but the Rogue clearly has a better interior/tech.

I have a Nissan Rogue with 26k miles and I am still in love with it. Good on gas, powerful enough, comfy...just amazing for my taste.

The Nissan Rogue S has everything you need. Heated steering wheel and seats , blind spot monitoring etc. To get that on the CRV you have to pay thousands more.

Sam, I love your comparison videos. They are so informative. Real world comparisons that are ruthlessly truthful.

Rogue is the best. I test drove Rav4, CRV and Rogue. Bought the rogue at the end.

Thanks for the video. Just a couple of points to add. The 1.5 turbo CRV does have a spare tire. Also, the CRVs rear seats recline to give a little more room.

I would still pick the crv but Nissan is definitely kicking butt. Makes me question why Honda hasn’t added more tech for the price…. This is exactly why I won’t be getting the crv this year. It is still lacking 😢

By no mean, Nissan and Mitsubishi is comparable with Honda and Toyota. If you are just fan of features, then CRV is a big no. But you have to also consider where they will stand after 6-7 years and how much I can sell them for. Nissan most probably ranks below Ford in terms of resale value. Just two cents.

Sam, Great comparison video as always. Two formidable contenders in a very competitive segment. I like what Nissan has done with the 2022 Rogue, options, fit and finish, style and overall package. It's spot on for most busy families, as they have price points and trims to make it doable on all budgets. As for the CR-V, well it does everything pretty much bang on and has since 1997 when it first launched. I don't know of one owner that didn't love their CR-V other than maybe engine output with the first gen series. With that said; I feel the available options on the Rogue (Panaroof, heads up display) make it feel like a more luxurious delivery than the CR-V. Trim level for trim level it feels more upscale. As for price? Well the CR-V just keep climbing up and up to where it's priced itself out of some people compact SUV budget, but then again the resale is and always has been top notch - so perhaps that $7,000 premium over the Rogue (Initially) might not be $7,000 in the end? Nevertheless, great video, great camera shots of stills and rolling content. Keep up the great work! Chris
