The actual goal of this game:
1. Get a Watermelon
2. Get to 3k
3. Get Double Watermelon (Near Impossible)
1 is not a goal. The real goal is have 2 watermelons touch and have the board clear itself.
then 2. would be to go infinite.
3. is indeed getting 3k though, though less of a goal of the game, and more a goal for any streamers

@@IneffableMega Sorry, not the board, but the watermelons themselves are cleared. Not too much of a difference, but you are correct that what I said is incorrect.
@@feha92well 3k is a good indicator. You have to have at least a couple runs or some prior knowledge to get there with out being too committed to the game. It also takes a little strategy where as getting to 2k is super easy and 2500 is typically your 3rd to 6th run

I remember mindlessly using that strategy, then when I came to, I was at 1024. Pretty sure I ended that run with a 4096

I love watching Jacob develop new addictions live-time. And for my own sanity, I'm going to assume that Jo was just doing a bit when he thought that Rube Goldberg machines are called Whoopi Goldberg machines. It's easier that way.
I think these guys should finally try Mario and Luigi Bowser's inside story and play the entire thing.

ive been seeing videos of this game and kept hearing it compared to 2048, so i decided to try that since i didnt have a copy of suika. got obsessed, reached 4096, its awesome. then this video pointed out theres a web version of suika so i started that. reached watermelon twice, plan to play more soon
this is all in the past few days btw. my playing of suika began tonight a few hours ago.
i thought we were finally getting the cocomelon episode or whatever

Actually insane that if you (me) play classic 2048 you're given the side eye but if you repackage it with cute little Japanese fruits all of a sudden it becomes all the rage.
Also I used to be an 2048 thrill seeker but ever since I came into contact with corner scumming I haven't been the same...

19:49 am I wrong to say that the fumble was here? The two cherries on the left probably could’ve touched if it wasn’t for the placement on the right which pushed them slightly away from each other. Because nothing else could have been done with the bottom pieces, any bit of space would have been good.

Yeah, I think a lot of his mistakes were ignoring the smaller pieces. He was great at managing the larger ones, but the smaller ones flew under his radar

this reminds me so much of Trash Panic for the PS3. If you have that or an emulator, you can try that to play a similar thing again for a 2D physics puzzle thingy
as someone who can actually solve a rubiks cube i 100% agree with Jo
solving a 3x3 is not hard, just watch a video. solving it QUICK is a completely different story, speed cubers have to think fast, act fast, and sometimes even use algorithms THEY created to solve the cube. impressive as hell
